Disappointed but not surprised by the reception to the Bonnie scene. Hurting people because they hurt you will never teach them the lesson. It will just make you hateful for no reason. This is why justice systems where punishment is a priority fail and those who focus on rehabilitation do not (which I guess also explains why so many Americans love this scene, I guess). Homelander manipulated Ryan to use his powers to punish rather than to do good. It wasn’t a scene to be enjoyed in any way.
