Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to analyze my work. I always love watching videos like this, it's awesome to see people engaging with and theorizing about the stuff I write. Even more thanks for reading my short stories, I don't have any kind of analytics or tracking on my website so it's always nice to hear that people are actually finding and reading those. Also, I see people are ragging on your pronunciation of "labyrinth", but I will say you managed to pronounce Neznavca correctly, which a lot of other people making analysis videos apparently had a lot of issues with!

My Grandmother has something like Sundowning or something and the idea is that during the day when she's around people she's fine. But at night, when she's alone, she has terrible hallucinations. She has told me stories of how her home was surrounded by zombies and all sorts of wild shit.
@phrastro70759 ай бұрын
It would be a crazy plot twist that the grandmother had sundown instead of the dream disease thing. Sorry for your grandma though, I'm sure shes nice
@jakestrider35659 ай бұрын
Oh! I know a bit about that, it usually goes along with dementia/altizimers (not always though its just most commonly comorbid with those, which is how i know about it). Sundowning is really something and I always feel bad for my residents who have it/have delusions already that get worse at night. I'm a CNA who used to do overnights and used to work in a memory care unit, so i've seen it in all kinds of people. I work evenings in long term care now so different residents but some of them do have sundowners.

My Nana was partially blind on top of having dementia so her hallucinations would be extremely real to her. She had degenerated retinas so she only had her peripheral vision so like the opposite of tunnel vision. Her brain would fill in the blanks for her and it was terrifying to watch. She had Alzheimer’s and Vascular dementia, it was so hard watching her essentially die twice and the second death was a mercy. At first it would frustrate me and I would correct her but eventually I just gave in and pretended whatever she was saying was true because if I didn’t it was more destressing for everyone.

32:57 - I don't think Beth was in the building itself in the chat exchange. The descriptions of Neznavca and the description of the Somnium offices are similar enough to me that I think comparing them is reasonable. maybe they didn't cover up the huge building -- maybe it was converted into the Somnium headquarters or research labs? EDIT: 37:54 - research labs for somnium are located in New Faribault, the same location that Neznacva. definitely built on top of the ruins/pulled from the same design philosophy. Maybe the black iron prison is located 'around' that area, physically or metaphysically. It might be the reason the architect was moved to create the building in that location, and why the building itself was a prison.

To be honest, i dont fully agree with your theory, i feel there is a mystical aspect going in the story. You completely ignored in the latest video about Carol they said that the door from ger house was actually broken down, so it means that her hallucinations where in some way real and/or affecting reality or there was a real person in the dead husband place while she was hallucinating. I generally feel like Somnium abilities are beyond natural, their weird dangeorus office, the don't get scared or be alone in their tapes, and giving the fbmi board nighmares (whiel they are obviously not using the dreamviewer). There is also the disappearances related to the black door, the lucid dreaming guy and the robber. And maybe its just me but the company and this type of technology gives me the feeling of 'messing with things beyond our understanding'. Here i have a small theory that they somehow "left" reality or were forcefully erased, with the robber being completely forgotten by everyone but the other robbers( he apparently doesnt appear in security, etc) or the 5th founder appears to be forcefully be forgotten, "the 5Fiives, based on their 4 founders" and their name apparently erase as well, there is also that scene that appears their names and if you look closely , it's like Name Name - Name Name With a space in the middle like it was forcefully erased. A hole in this theory was that the lucid dreaming guy wasnt erased, so maybe it's not only about the black door but something else as well. Maybe I'm wrong and I've misunderstood something, but i have a feeling that the potential in the story that its purely technological and Somnium is in full control of everything is less than something Lovecraftian and mystical (with the labyrinth and the origin of the subconscious.[?
