Finally some appropriately sized work for the Uchine.

Nice video. A lot of other videos show only all the normal work that fits nicely in the machines with a perfectly rigid setup.

I really like your videos, could you make a complete video about fixing parts, showing your experience, giving examples of how to fix different types of parts, and showing your fasteners and how to use them in the best way. Thank you in advance if you can Another great teaching and practice video. Thank you!

Very nice work! Good idea to weld on some support - Ive done something like that before too =)

I constantly had this problem at the last place I worked where the parts were WAY too big for the machine. For some parts I had to pull the windows out so the part wouldn't bash them out because it was so long in the X axis. Others I'd have to remove all my standard every day tools from the umbrella tool changer and use only a stub tool holder with a stub endmill. In those parts the the "Part" zero would often be ABOVE the "Maximum working height of the machine meaning above the height the tool changer lifts to change tools in an umbrella style tool changer! Always fun to figure out what you gotta do to do what you gotta do! The size comparison of the mills I ran these parts on would make you laugh. On the one I ran the majority of all parts on as the other one was a bit too old and unreliable. The mill was 1/5th the size of your mill. They literally make 1/5th scale RC cars. Thats basically what my mill was to yours. Great work! As always! I hope your boss appreciates you and the time you put into your job and these videos!

I'm not a machinist. How many inserts did you spent for this job? I really like your videos.

Thanks. The inserts lasted until the end. There was no need to replace them

Thank you for your video. The finished product after processing is very beautiful. Why not cut it with a laser, then machine it again with a CNC machine? This will save a lot of CNC machining time.
