You are thinking about the Wall sniping the wrong way. You aren't premptively using it, you're actively using it to gain positional advantages in moment to moment scuffles by hiding behing cover and shooting enemies through that cover. There are lots and lots of cover dodad that players, even in steel path, hide behind that are suddenly fortified postions you can attack from without penalty. you're also using it to line up killshots against npcs who are using cover you cant normally punch through.

Give him 5 tauforged purple shards with Electric for primary, infuse nourish (instead of his 1) , put blast on the sniper. and you have the most devious combo you can get in warframe if you would like to do so also add the funny arcane arachne and arcane rage (or as said arcane avanger with CD)

I seem to remember having heard during a dev stream or tenno live or some other place that they are looking at damage buff abilities going forward being more like the Duviri decrees that give additional instances, like the one that grants an extra corrosive hit, or an extra cold hit on crits. Wasn't sure if those were similar to Toxic Lash/Xata's Whisper, but it sounds like they are. And by doing this, it also means you can have a base element on your weapon and not worry about it combining in a way you might not want it to. Like if you've got Cold on your weapon and want to keep it for proc-ing freeze and the crit bonuses, you wouldn't want to use Ember's damage augment since that would turn it into Blast and remove the freezing and crit boosting effects. But if it gave an extra Heat hit, then you can freeze and burn at the same time without having to worry about fiddling with your damage mods.

yeah thats a really big question, how many times can his bullets ricochet does it scale? personally want it to scale based on duration, cause i feel its both synergistic and makes sense. you're bullets last longer so they can bounce more, and most of his kit sounds like it likes duration. but realistically, itd be strength scaling

im just worried about the sniper rifle thing cause genuinely sniper rifles feel terrible to use in this game for me. when you're dealing with hordes a sniper rifle just isnt what i want. but theres potential here, if the weakpoint ricochet bullet can chain itself multiple times, it'll be awesome. practically a chain of headshots which could be really good i think. iirc theres a bond mod for companions that care about headshots that could see some use depending on how it works out

Something interesting about Resupply is that reload clears the effect. That means that weapons with innately high magazines like Quellor and Soma will benefit from this much more than most other weapons. Depending on energy cost too, it could prove to be a very energy heavy abilty with needing to constantly cast it for small mag weapons

I don't think people are understanding his sniper will work like dual toxycist incarnon. It's literally gonna be an aoe crit weapon. Like it is described near identically to how dual tox incarnon is, "bullets will ricochet off of weak points" meaning if you hit a head shot, which you 100% will given the alt fire completely aoe freezes enemies, it will travel in an aoe type way hitting consecutively more headshots, building up your sniper combo giving you insane crit damage. I really don't get how people are hating on this, they just hear the word sniper and immediately start hating on it without taking 2 seconds to understand the ability.

My main complaint or worry is that with many exalted weapons, I fear Cyte-09's will fall behind Main reason I dislike them is due to the lack of variety on builds since they force you to go full dmg on the weapon and full AS on the frame just to make it work, since they can't pack weapon Arcanes like the SP ones or specific mods like HM and such, hate that DE hates these type of weapons.

Just a quick counter argument, but I've been playing for 600 hours, MR 21, and I still play normal mode 80% of the time. Steel Path only comes around for the Circuit and their incarnons really. Most people in my clan and friend's clan's (so a total of about 30 ish active players, not a big sample size but you know), are about the same. Only the couple of people big on Rivens play steel path to buy kuva with steel essence.

Just wanted to add a +1 to this to hopefully get more eyes on this. People who have been playing since the game released may, or may not be playing exclusively SP, but people who pick up the game without years and years of experience and loot can still get through to 1999 without even hitting SP. Hell, they might not even have Arbitrations unlocked. Sure, Cyte-09 might not be intended to be an early game option like Koumei, but it's not going to be something intended to SP-Only gameplay.

If someone is playing casually, they don't care if they're doing the hardcore endgame content. Designing your game for only a small percentage of the players is a recipe for disaster. Also, you're correct about Arbitrations and SP unlocking at the same time. I thought there was something else you needed to do to unlock SP.

even if he ends up not that strong he sure sounds fun and his kit seems to synergise very well, he can see ennemies through walls, then shoot through walls thanks to the punch through, kill multiple ennemies per shot so his sniper isn't a lame single target, and get infinite stealth to survive. I think is kinda interesting since you are using seek to point the weak spots, then your second ability goes through the elemental weakness of the enemy and while invisible, you shoot... Room clear

I think Seek will be most useful for bypassing any debris or miscellaneous cover that could block shots when shooting into a group of enemies rather than trying to be sneaky with it and just use it on walls.

Excited for this warframe now. I came up with my own sniper warframe the other day and a lot of my concepts weren't so far away from what they eventually did here. I can see him being used in boss hunting, with acidshells, with the original incarnons, any explosive weapon since no ammo problems, maybe synergy with wisp helmith since agressive sparks are considered weapon damage, synergy with all cold based arcanes, any archgun being good

If his invis or his grenade are the helminth, it's gonna go insane. The ammo pack especially, because lash/xata double/triple dip on certain dmg buffs (notably faction damage). Blast also double dips status dmg, triply for faction dmg. Blast explosions can trigger xata/lash. So infusing xata on cyte or ammo pack on Saryn would go crazy. Of course, this assumes that they are coded in the same way, but even if they aren't, it will still be cool.

That ain’t true at all. It’s extremely unlikely to be heavier hitting than sonar. Sonar is a final damage multiplier that can be stacked on itself, literally allowing you to do damage cap on unmodded weapons. That’s not to say seek will be bad though, it’ll most likely be really good

@6:46 I think, because it's two packs of ammo tossed, that it will be different primary elements each that could be combined. Say you want fire damage fire damage. You throw the blast pack, and pick up the fire brick. The cold brick is unused on till picked up, either combining with fire to make blast or use as is.

Could also be so you can give the buff for your teammates, you can pick up one and leave the other for a teammate, like how basically every elemental infusion augment also gives the buff to teammates in some way if it's two instances of the same buff then you just need to cast twice for the whole squad, and every cast for yourself will always leave one for someone else (or you twice i guess, 2 instant reloads per cast sounds pretty nice)

They already did fix Xaku, you can turn off the skeleton mode entirely, or make it permanent, the option is in the auxiliary slot in attachments. Rhino’s Iron Skin hasn’t been updated yet though.

Honestly resupply looks the juiciest for me and im praying its the helmeth my only concern is how much energy it will cost compared to a single shot mag compared to a 200 im also hoping it can effect melee as well like giving combo count on cast or something, im realy looking forward to him since using that ability will be like going back before the ammo nerf for some weapons i have missed my kuva brama so dang much and im still pissed they havent removed or fixed that ammo nerf.

Sounds like his 2 will likely be like the Lavos augment but weaker. Unlikely to be 200%, but might have the guaranteed proc. Either way, sounds great and I'm hoping that's the Helminth. Would be super useful...though I'm expecting it's his 1 ._. Also remember that archon intensify only works if you are *actually healing HP*, so....if you're permanently invisible, not getting shot at, and not taking damage, it's not going to activate unfortunately :/

Yeah, I also have a strong Helminth 1 feeling. The rest just sounds too good to be true even if in a diminished fashion :/ About Archon Intensify, that's why I mentioned Combat Discipline. This inflicts self damage and therefore enables Archon Intensify on these types of perma-unhittable Builds ;) Only worth it though if you're also running Arcane Avenger. If not for it then you'd ger more Ability Strength from Umbral Intensify + Growing Power ;)

@@MHBlacky_ENG Might also be worth considering Precision Intensify, if the exalted sniper actually turns out to be powerful. Depending on the numbers the 3 doesn't really seem to use strength, the 1 and 2 it'll depend on if the multiplier scales well (or at all...the precision damage multiplier might not scale on strength, we'll have to see), and how much elemental damage it adds. 90% strength, albeit for only your 4, can be incredible on frames with exalted weapons.
