"Injecting Yeti oil is poisonous" Heck, if you are close enough to an enemy, and sneaky enough that you can inject anything, you may as well use something more effective than "it makes your slow." A guy walks into a store and says to the clerk: "I want your best ant poison" So the clerk gives him one that is guaranteed lethal, and furthermore, will spread to the whole colony! Super happy, the client leaves, but comes back after 3 days "Your stupid poison does nothing! I even found ants swimming in the stuff!" "But sir" -says the clerk- "Didn't you read the instructions?" The client feels a little embarrassed when he realizes that no, he didn't read the instructions, so he does so now. THIS POISON IS INJECTABLE

I'm running a DnD campaign based on the Ice Age setting in DnD. After 2 sessions fighting yeti in the wild of the Balduvian Steppes (first without any light or fire to sneak up on them while they slept in a series of ice caves only to be, second at the bottom of a giant crevasse where a herd of mammoths had long-ago been driven to fall to their deaths, forming a mammoth graveyard, their bones picked clean over the years, both fights making much of the yeti's climb speeds to traverse walls and ledges) the one PC, a thug working for Soldev's local crime syndicate before he was caught and conscripted into the army for his crimes, went on a rant about how much he hated yeti and wanted them all dead. Immediately after the second battle, exploring a cave at the bottom of the crevasse he found 2 newborn yeti, immediately changing his tone and adopting them. They've since become the only things the murderous thug loves more than himself, and he once risked his life and saved all of Soldev from the then-villain's attack as the villain's army was threatening Soldev, where the yeti were holed up.
