I love the Freak Athlete. So good for a bunch of exercises. The stability is reflected by my ability to do side bends with the machine in a 45 degree angle … all my weight on one side of the machine … and the machine does not rock, wobble, tip or show any weakness in structure or stability. Flat back extensions with the GHD pad are so good. The leg developer is excellent. Given what this machine can do and its stability, I think the price is reasonable.

As often as I see people say you can do GHD sit ups on this thing I've yet to see a single person actually do them in the form people would. Let's see some sets of 10+ at a moderate pace, everyone just does a couple of super slow reps and calls it a day on testing.
@NoFate2472 ай бұрын
If I was Matt Fraiser i'd probably be doing them faster. Unfortunately, that's the speed I can go to and not snap up my back. But you bring up a solid point, going faster would put more momentum into the nordic hyper

$170 for a ghd PAD.... Not to be totally "good old days" about it, but I bought a cheapo GHD on New York Barbells 20 years ago for $100. It's not the best GHD, but it still does the job. The cost of the same GHD now is no less than $400.

Excellent video. After watching your video, I've decided not to buy the Freak Athlete Hyper Pro. I can't see the logic of paying a premium price for an innovative "Swiss Army Knife-like" exercise apparatus so I have a better way to do rarely-done exercises. There are far less expensive ways to develop the glutes, hamstrings, hips, lower back, and abs, and I already own the exercise equipment I need to do them. This includes a power rack, Olympic barbell, dumbbells, kettlebells, Squat Max MD, Powertec Leverage Squat Machine, Roman chair, Freak Athlete Mini-Pro, Suples Bulgarian Bag, a pull-up tower, and Life Pro Glute Blast/Hip Thrust Machine. For instance, an excellent way to develop the abdominal muscles is by doing leg raises and crunches on a flat bench and frog kicks while suspended on a pull-up bar.
@NoFate2472 ай бұрын
It definitely isn't for everyone. Do you make up your own programing
@shiwakuseven58592 ай бұрын
@@NoFate247 Yes, and I focus on rotating exercises, the way I do exercises, using different exercise tools, and strength training methods to avoid muscular accommodation, which is when muscular endurance, size, and strength gains stop if you do the same exercises with the same exercise tools with the same load and using the same strength training methods too long. The Freak Athlete Hyper Pro is versatile, but there are far cheaper ways to get a total body workout, which includes just using a kettlebell. Tommy Kono, America's Greatest Olympic Weightlifter of All-Time", won 2 Olympic Gold Medals in weightlifting, set 26 world weightlifting records, and 4 Mr. Universe titles with just an Olympic barbell, weight plates, and squat stands, even though he advocated hanging exercises, like frog kicks, from a pull-bar.
