You are a lifesaver. Printer did only print white pages - the pin to the toner roller was rusty and did not make contact with the printer.

My problem was that the toner was clumped & not being applied onto the developer roller. I solved it by running a the corner of a clean A4 paper into the slit behind the roller. No need to remove the roller. You should be able to slide the paper into slit/mouth at the back compartment of the roller where the new toner is stored. This problem happened after I refilled & living in a humid place, the toner powder clumped & blocked the slit. My printer was printing very faint half pages. Very similar symptoms with the drum ground contact fault & low toner powder fault IE not enough toner being applied to the paper . Ricoh 311 printer. Hopefully this helps someone. 😀

Hi and thanks for the video. I have a HP Laserjet 3030 (B&W only). Even copy function turns a blank sheet. Only very very faint random lines across the page. Any guidance is much appreciated.

They are the contscts between cartridge and the printer. They are connected with the main board. It could be a main board problem,

these methods do not work if the printer or the cartridge is broken. check if there is paper jammed inside the printer

I have a M452 printer and it will not print black on the supply page. I have exchange the toner with another toner and no black print. It will print the black arrow on the cleaning page but it will not print any text on the configuration page, supply page or any other internal reports. I have also updated the firmware. Any ideals on how to fix this?

heck the contacts between the cartridge and the printer, but it could be the laser scanner or the main board

I have two Canon MF8180C color printers. Old but one brand new out of box prints only blank pages when copy is selected. Both B&W and Color selections. The old printer had a bad Fuser. Tried the fuser from the new in the old. I can copy B&W but color selection makes blank pages also. I tried new drum and toner as well as all combinations from old printer new printer and generic new toner set. No luck. Canon no longer supports. Any ideas before all goes in the trash? Thank you.

Does your operative system supports the driver of these old machines. This could be the problem

Not using computer yet. Multi function machine with scanner fax and copier functions. Just straight copy function of machine without a computer connected. That probably will be another issue.

I think that in the printer folder you have to select tray 2

@@viandant5 no...i found that the solonoid which responsible for picking up the paper from tray 2 needs cleanning...because this solonoid works as similar as the relay. Its closing without opening again because of some dust. So i cleaned it and the printer works pefectly now. Thank you for the your responding....really appreciate it.

Hi There! Thanks for this, but it doesn't quite address my specific issues. I have a Brother MFC9130CW, it prints the first half of the page with all colors well, and then fades out and goes blank for the rest of the page and any page after.

Check the trasfer belt. Check if in the color cartridges the toner rollers are regularly covered with toner

Hello, my printer Brother is laser too. Dcp 2540dw. It prints clearly blank pages. The chronology is in the previous day i tried to change toner repeteadly about 3 times just to compare the quality between original toner with non original one that i bought recently. Because the original one seems start to make bad result. So i inteded to replace with non original which is cheaper. During that experiment was okay. But after the next day, in the morning i found it blank pages. 😭. I use that machine for photo copy service in my little shop. I bought november 2019 Probably you have an idea what it may cause ?

It could be the drum unit, or a contact between the drum unit and the printer. Check it the toner cartridge is correctly installed. Try to remove and reinstall it.

Is the toner roller fully covered with a layer of toner? Are you sure the cartridge is making correct contact with the drum?

Due to effect in cartridge toner was spilled inside printer. After cleaning the print with blower I replaced with new cartridge. Now it is printing white pages. I suspected that the laser mirror was contaminated with fine toner dust. I cleaned thoroughly the laser beam mirror. But not solved. Anyone kindly help

Difficult to say without checking the printer, may be the compressed air damaged the scanner unit or the main board

Hi My Brother printer prints text great. It just messed up printing a picture and left one side of photo blank. I got half a vertical picture. Half a pup. First time that has ever happen. I tried doing the cleaning thing and lining up thing. It still just prints half a pic. ???

@@viandant5 figured it out. The cartridge and all was ok. It was something messing up with Excel table. Tested printing in other scenarios just in case and it was working ok. Thought it was weird. Anyway, thanks for quick help.

@@munibullahmarunda7051 just formatting of cells was wrong in Excel, thus making even preview pages blank. Had to copy whole table and create new document, paste it there, do the formatting again and... It decided to work. Was simple solution really.
