It recently happened with me... My Iterinary was New Delhi to Abu Dhabi(Go Air), from Abu dhabi, I had a connecting flight for Toronto... Transit time at Toronto was less than 8hours, it is mentioned on the official website of Etihad that you don't need a transit visa if your transit period is less than 8hours.. Please let me know if I was required to have a transit visa if I was changing the terminals and transit period was less than 8hrs?

No you do not require Transit visa because the transit time is less than 8hours.It is mentioned on the Official site of Etihad. So Nobody can deny you boarding. Just show them that you have all the required documents and the official site of etihad.

Since the transit takes less than eight hours, you are not required to get a transit visa. This is indicated on Etihad's main website. Therefore, nobody can deny you boarding. Just demonstrate to them that you have all the necessary paperwork and a link to the official Etihad website.

Whichever airlines did this, you file a complaint against their registered head office or if they have a local office closest to where you live. If both doesn't happen then they must have any agency through which they partner and operate. Make them a party to the case. If is not possible an airlines operated in a coj try without fulfilling any one of the above.

Hello Sir , i need a suggestion. So i was travellinh from.canada to india with a stop at amsterdam and Paris .That was two schengen countries and now i know that a visa is required . I am a canadian Pr . So one schengen country is visa free . But this ticket was taken from the website itself and in no way a communication was made regarding the requirement of the visa , no checklist or no.disclaimer was made . Hi.. I am really sorry for your experience.. I am there to help you in any way I can .. See if you ask me .. then the rules say that when you buy a ticket then you should know what all countries are visa free and which require a visa.. so in such situations the liability is on the person who buys the ticket. Also if you are just transiting through a country and if it’s the same airlines then they usually give you the boarding pass for all the journey .. so that you can be in transit zone and just take your next flight .. The airline staff has no reason to reject you if all your documents are accurate. Please try to ask them what is the reason they are stopping you from going. If they refuse to co-ordinate, please file a complaint at the consumer forum.

Hi, according to me it's not required if you are traveling with the same airlines. They will give you 2 boarding passes for your whole journey from Mumbai only. BUT, just to be safe you can write an email to the UAE EMBASSY just to be double sure and have a concrete evidence in hand.

Make it clear to them that the decision to give entry is with the immigration and not them, they should just act as a carrier whose ticket you have bought. 2. Tell them you are willing to provide an undertaking saying if you are denied entry then you will travel back at your own expense. 3. If possible send them a mail with above there and then and tell them if this is not done, you will approach the consumer forum later. 4. As of now you can try to file a complaint with the consumer forum.

Bro both Mine and my friends flight to hochi minh is on sept 22at 9:20 pm from kolkata and 11:50 pm from kochi we would be arriving there by 3:00 am and 6:40 am on sept 23 rd. our evisa is valid from 23 rd. i contacted the indigo airlines and they told they cant allow my friend to board even when our arrival is on 23 rd September and i contacted my airlines they are not even responding. so i contacted akbar travels asking can we book evisa again but they told us we cant as we have a valid evisa and they told we have to book a new flight for 23 September. Customer executive in call spoke quite rudely statung she wont be allowed to board in nagpur itself at any cost. What should we do ? i wrote to the vietnam embassy for allowing us to board the flight. Dont know whether there would be a reply back to mail. Could you please tell me what should i do?

Hi I have booked tickets on Ethihad airways from Doha to Bangalore in my passport my Surname is blank and given name is mentioned. While booking the tickets I have repeated my given name in the first name and also my last name. I spoke to Etihad they told me to put my first name as FNU and right the given name as it is.
