What to do if Microphone is not working in the Nvidia app?

Hi, I’ve done everything u said on this video aswell as making sure everything has been updated and is in the right setting, I am still not able to pick up my mic in clips and am not sure why, in the audio tab my mic is grey and not available to have a drop down- don’t know if this is something to be of concern, could someone please let me know if they find a fix for the mic issues

Did you solve it? I can't get mine to work for anything, and the funny thing is that the microphone shows that it is being used by NVIDIA, but it doesn't appear in the Clips, it all started with this new Launch...

Try setting your volume in audio settings to 100 and then putting the boost to 100 too.

For all people for whom it still does not work. You need to uninstall all of the NVIDIA software and make a clean installation. For me it solved the problem

i've done that and it still doesn't woek that was my last resort i've done everything it's been nearly a week of trying to fix this issue it's annoying AF

this tutorial also didn't fix my problem. Well I will chek in 2026 as this sproblem persist a few years now.
