Getting a false "i have a BF" is a lie (in this scenario). There is no difference between "you are not my type" and " I'd have no interest in you". I respect honesty, even if it stings. Well, there's two things to keep in mind: 1- A guy gotta do what a guy gotta do, for the sake of a guy's own sanity. I used to have this respectful and gentlemanly idea about not engaging with girls with boyfriends, only to later find out that it's a load of bullshit. The regret of not even trying to follow your heart can be much tougher to live with than the actually knowing she was never gonna leave him for you. I'm not saying one should be hitting on girls with boyfriends out of habit or whatever. By default one should look the other way: the risks of not doing so are great. But I'm saying one should at least try whenever one feels it's actually worth taking the risks. 2- Having a girlfriend doesn't mean you aren't still competing with other men for her. That's the hard reality, like it or not. A relationship has to be ongoingly maintained and cared for and never neglected. If she runs off with another guy, that may just say something about the state of the relationship, or about her, or about you.

#3 is such a good piece, it takes me back to old school Mystery method. Mystery always use to say, don't pretend to be an interesting guy, actually be interesting. Do martial arts, go on hikes, play an instrument, play a sport it doesn't make a difference just do something that's interesting! A lot of these will help keep you in great shape and the stories you can tell from these experiences will make for great conversation pieces too! Just came across your channel yesterday. I’ve watched several of your vids and they are fascinating. I’m a 73 male and I’m trying to develop a relationship with a 61 year old female who I have known for about 18 months. I've met women that leads me on and it takes a while before they mention a boyfriend. One I even dated. After finding out and confronting her she was acting perfectly as if it was nothing. "Oh, I must have forgotten to mention him." Another was constantly rubbing her knees against mine while sitting down talking and looking straight into my eyes, she was calling me and wanted to talk for hours while walking the dog that I didn't feel she was very interested in as a dog anyway. She slowly introduced the fact of her boyfriend - by using slightly derogatory terms about him. This should have been a clear warning sign. Another (old romance) sought me out on facebook years ago, I wasn't at all active there, so I didn't see it until years later. I replied and scrolled through her posts and pics, and it seemed she was involved with someone she probably had kids with aswell. She was handling messages by mentioning everything but never mentioning him. Checked her out more and yes she was in all essence a wife to a man with whom she had several children in school age. Another one showed all the classic attraction signs that even I could pick up on. Standing so close you could hardly press a busniess card between us, looking up with a submissive look, beaming smile everytime we met, laughing at my most awkward, unwitty jokes as if I was outclassing Dylan Moran's comedy specials. When I start to get it, and my interest peaks beyond her just being hot AF, the boyfriend is mentioned in order to cool me down. Double effect for me 1) don't wan't an ape swinging from tree to tree 2) she had been obviously leading me on just to boost her confidence or whatever. Not going to waste energy on that. After seeing my total disinterest, it was to be honest a demonstrative disinterest, she starts to show similar behavior again. Don't know if the BF sitution has changed and I don't care. They are tough to find and life is too short to pretend I don't care about women at all. But to be honest, single periods have been happier as a whole, than not single. Dating is complete shit to me. So much time and money I could spend on more rewarding things (dogs, guns, bikes and cars - and of course staring in silence into darkness listening to the grass grow) than trying to care about exotic food that tastes like chicken or art that look like shit. I'm not MGTOW, but in practice, I notice IDGAF. To hang around when you KNOW there is a boyfriend and spending TIME to be in a girls friend zone - that means you have to spend time basically doing girls stuff - with no relevant reward. No girl is worth that. That shit grows tits on a man. Next step is soy drinking, sandals and veganism.

I’ve known this girl for over almost 2 years now. We met at a dance practice on March last year and since then we became really good friends. She was already in a relationship when we met but we still get to hang out because we’re really good friends. As days went by, I started to develop feelings for her. I haven't really seen other videos, so I'm really new to this channel. I just had one question about the counter questions to "I have a bf" for girls you just recently met. Especially the first one. Doesn't the counter question "Do you really have a bf?" just demonstrate a lack of faith or distrust in the girl? It's like saying I don't trust you. And if she hasn't given any reason to conclude so far in he conversation that she's not trustworthy, then why this question? Are you saying women can be naturally untrustworthy or flaky? And if she is untrustworthy or flaky then why pursue things further at all? Unless the goal is just a hookup. But then men are creeps who try to take things to hookup or approach girls for hookups right off the bat, aren't they? And about the other questions, which only really become possible after the first one. How is some random girl you just met at all obligated to share personal life details with you? The person she was trying to get rid of not more than 2 seconds ago? And not to mention basically by pushing further with questions all you're really saying is I don't believe what you said or even if you have a bf let me ask about it just to be sure if you'd be happy without my divine intervention. As if a girl can't be sure what she wants and knows when something is good or bad for her. If the relationship was bad she would have ended it before (excluding relationships where she is being forced directly/indirectly), or she wouldn't consider it a relationship now and bring up "I have a bf" as a valid reason. To be honest, when a girl you just met, especially when you approach women in public, says she has a bf, I think it's better to leave it at that. Because even if she doesn't have a bf, she lost her chance at a quality relationship with a guy who had the courage to approach her in a public setting. Too bad for her. There are many women in this world, and many who know how to interact with people of the other gender without being a child.

I have found that being lonely is not a good reason to latch on to someone, and any guy has to be careful of this tendency. This may be very prevalent during these troubled Covid times, and I'm doing my best to not be stupid. Almost every woman who has anything to offer in the way of companionship, or gaiety, or "soul" has got SOMEONE somewhere. I have been alone by choice for over 10 years, but find that I truly have wanted someone to share my light moments as well as serious contemplative moments with for many years, and I am open but not desperately transparent about this. Ah, very good! At 4:06 you hit on the best reason to engage with a woman who says she has a boyfriend...her friends. Likely at least one of them is single. When I was a young man (like 50 years ago), my favorite way to approach a young woman was to write down a name and address of a place nearby, and walk up to the prettiest girl I saw (or the one I was targeting) and ask her if she could direct me to it. Worked a lot more often than not, and it didn't come off as creepy if she wasn't interested (for whatever reason). ;-)

Hi! I'm not sure whether you still remember one of my comments from a couple of months ago about a girl I think might like me (sending her pics and stuffs). At that point, she said she has a bf and I still communicate with her as neutral as I can (but sometimes I can be quite charming and funny too to her and we enjoy our talks). I do realize that I never want to intentionally hurt other's relationship so I always maintain my border. A couple of days ago, out of the blue, she chatted me again (after silent months I never even bother to chat her) asking how I am and letting me know that she's single (she said her ex blocked me anywhere on IG and WA). It depends on how she says "I have a boyfriend" and her body language. If she is just being reserved and cautious (she doesn't know me yet) and using a voice tone that is not to strong and aggressive, the door is open to pursue her but if she says it in a firm way than she probably means it as she is in a committed relationship and using this statement as defense or she is just not interested in me . I would stay relaxed, playful and casual as its no big deal, and say with a smile and confidence "That is not a surprise for an attractive woman like you, hope he is appreciative of you" if she smiles and responds back and starts to get intrigued I would flow with it and engage her but if she still stays defensive I smile and walk away, as Mr "wonderful" from the shark tank says "your dead to me"

Wingmam, she went on a handful of mini dates with me over a couple years along with a number of times we would chat at the cafe she works at which in texts her responses were "come in always love seeing me." I would ask her out on a mini meet and decline the day but did offer alternate time and day. There were other flat declines. covid interrupted one of those years. She did mention a boyfriend a few times. I was not sure if he was real at first but he is. Not sure how strong it is between them. She still would give me some face time.
