If you swamp any quad, it can be done for Depending on how much water gets sucked up 😂 Also depends on what else is included, ie mud and debris. Based on how much mud he had in his air box and the fact he continued to run it in that state no wonder it’s fucked. That diesel / oil flush only works if minimal debris is included with the water, safer bet would be to just split the case and clean everything. Might as well since you’re rebuilding it anyway haha. Gotta pay to play, they’re simple, a good service manual and time you can figure out how to fix almost anything on a atv.

Worked for me on my 17 and 19. This rubicon had bigger issues but not caused from the diesel

@@JacobOverman you know how some folks are lol I've looked at plenty over the years that were good deals... Too good to be true, and most always were. They'd claim the ATV was elderly owned and never been rough housed... The wear and tear underneath told different stories lol at least you started at an honest price.

Love your videos. Definitely buying Honda. Question. So I see some people relocate there radiators. So why not the hole air box.? Like get a water proof box to house the filter, snorkel. On front rack. Then it’s simple and a hose threw the front right fender littlery to the throttle. Hell maybe in the empty void were the factory air box was make that intake hose curl a couple time as extra defense just in case you go that deep?

@@JacobOverman past point of warranty on my ride when I get it I’ll have to try. Get like a water resistant ammo can roughly the same size as the air box and run the hoses See if it works. If it works. Past that If it works. Heck I’ll make it look better. Prob be a good start for my own YT vid

My canam ran just fine pulled the plug and ran it on straight water no oil for 2 hours never had to rebuild it to this day 🤷🏻‍♂️ try again

😂 all depends on how bad you swamp it. I’ve swamped many atv’s and have had success doing as you stated. However. I didn’t know why this one cut off. So I cranked it up and ran it hard until it quit. Now it got a motor. The thick mud went right in. Took out bearings

I always run 15w40 rotella Diesel engine oil regardless Honda or not. That’s what’s in my dads Suzuki and all my buddies run it too
