i live in savannah and know that if you don't go to savannah candy kitchen or river street sweets [ they're basically the exact same and owned by the same family] you're missing out

Savannah is my second home, and you did an excellent job telling the story. In the second half of my book 'The Heart is in the Past', Savannah is the home of the main character and his friends. He's visited by Princes, Dukes, and the Queen of England.

You should really mention the Victorian district that is right behind the historic district. It's just as beautiful, and is worth exploring, too.

@@Peonies925 Immediately south of Savannah's better-known Landmark Historic District, and anchored by the lower half of Forsyth Park, is the Victorian Historic District, stretching from a block past Martin Luther King, Jr Boulevard in the west to East Broad Street in the east, between Gwinnett Street and Anderson Lane.

planning a vacation in January and was going to go to Gainesville but decided on savannah instead, how are the locals towards visitors?? i was out in TN last year and it shocked me with how polite people are there and when you say hello to someone they say hello back

We’re mostly nice but if you see college students speed walking with giant portfolio bags, please move out of the way cause we’re probably late for class. Tourists tend to walk extremely slow and take up the entire sidewalk

I moved from Savannah from Silicon Valley about three years ago and have both good and not so good experiences while living in Savannah. Savannah is a very beautiful city though despite its not so good aspects ( crime, pollution, plastic bags, no smog checks, poverty and homeless issues, etc.)
