Sails in the Desert is a great hotel. I spent 10 days at Uluru - great place and extremely worthwhile going there. Greetings from far away Switzerland.

for the most part I don't, but maybe because I've done it so many times! I think it really depends on where you go as well - I have definitely had some scary experiences, but not anything bad enough to put me off solo travel. I think it's so important to live life on your terms and solo travel really helps me become more confident, happier, and more resourceful, I think!
