What to do when a sex addict lies to you!

I am so hurt & frustrated with my husband. Dday was weeks ago & he is lying, minimizing all the proof of his addiction & infidelity. He refuses to talk about the truth & instead were going round & round about his lying vs. his addiction. He says he wants to stay married but can't stop lying so I don't believe anything at all that comes out of his mouth. So thank you for this info & all your other videos Dr. It's helping me so so much.

It’s been 4.5 yrs since I found out some he had an affair for 8 months said what I red didn’t actually happen I found out he had been going to strip clubs behind my back. I left him the first yr of marriage cuz he had a stripper for his bachelor party when I strictly stated I was against it and he agreed with me. Found out his porn addiction too. I am sure there is so much I don’t know he says he wants to stayed married but won’t do any work and still has not told me truth. I wished I could tell you how stupid he thinks I am. But anyway. Hope you are healing for yourself. That’s what I am doing. Putting me first from now on

That’s the goal! Satan wants us to dissociate like they have, whether slowly through lying to ourselves or during a horrible discovery. Pray that God keeps your mind whole through all of this.

I wonder the same bc he believes his own lies with solid conviction. Proof he’s lying doesn’t phase him. It’s extremely disturbing.

My husband dissociated after lying so much. God literally gives them over to a reprobate mind, and now we need multiple people residing in him to get saved 😮 This is really good compared to some I’ve seen… The problem is these people are vacuous. If they get rid of their “fun,” they have nothing like helping others or reading the Bible to replace it with.

One of the toughest realities of being a sex addict and having a wife that cares and wants you to stop so that you will be a better Christian and husband, is when she gets fed up with the reoccurring cycle, and leaves you. Every spouse has a breaking point.

I opened up about therapists telling me I was a sex addict many years ago and I accepted all the rightful judgement and concern that came with it. With all of that said... For the first time in my life after 18 I never touched another woman but I did watch pornography. I swear to GOD I didn't know it was that bad but that is the '14 year old" in me. I tried really hard, I did lie about stuff but I NEVER touched another woman. I was and AM really in love. I was honest about that and I don't think I should be judged forever for it.

Once again a message that is very important, for my porn addicted husband. I'm hoping he'll be up to listening to this. All I can do is plant the seed. He has to do all the watering and pulling the weeds. There will come a time when we say enough is enough and put our foot down. I love my husband without measure. I can't even begin to tell someone the person that I know and am in love with about how infinite my love goes. My husband already has too much power over me as it is, and I need to tuff it up, and take some of that power he's gotten and put it in the right places.

Last sentence what you said was very painful for me....if he chooses sex addiction for his life love...... what i need to do then with our kids.....Should I divorce such a person? Because Bible says that divorce is like adultery ...or in this case is life saving act?Is there some explanation, please.
