I love that you said it takes an average of 7 minutes to fold a basket of clothes. I have always been frustrated because it feels like it takes so long. In my head it should only take 2-3 minutes. So, I need to adjust my expectations, I guess…and I’m grateful you gave me a more realistic timeframe.

I can’t tell you how happy I am to find your YT channel. I follow the flylady system for years but never got farther than my morning routine. I’ll turn 50 in September, I’m going through Perimenopause with every single Symptom possible but the worst is my depression, lack of energy and no motivation. I gained so much weight (30kg) and no matter what I do every time I step on the scale it shows more weight. I’m frustrated, ashamed, desperate… My house is a mess, I’m constantly overwhelmed … When I listen to you I don’t feel like a failure anymore but have the feeling that I can do it. You comfort me and calm me down. Yesterday morning I watched your video, paused it and did what you told me to do. I felt so much better afterwards. Today (it’s sunday morning) I did my morning routine and measured the time. I must say that I move very slowly (because of the depression and no energy and my body hurts). I get up every day at 4:30 am and ho to work at 6:40 am. I need this much time no matter if I do the routines or not. Thanks again and have a wonderful Sunday.

By that definition, I am definitely tangled up! No kids, but the 2 spare rooms are indeed exploding. Luckily I'm recently retired, so I can do what my mind and body will permit. Ok, watching the video now. Edit: it's late now, I'm going to bed, but 2moro I will get up and follow this excellent advice.

I’m a payroll. I’m trying this for a month like the at home schedule. I didn’t see a time to actually clean the bathroom (ie. toilets counters etc). She would this be done on the FlyLady schedule? I would assume it would need to be done more than once a month

The weekly home blessing gets the floors and glass, the daily rituals (routines) get the toilets and sinks. Tubs can be done after bathing or showering once a week
