Allie, when you talked about the “pulling in a chair” feeling it hit on the nail for me in such a tangible way. I was exactly the same. From a young age, my dad always brought me into meetings or negotiations I knew I had no business participating in. But simply being in those rooms gave me invaluable lessons that formed the foundation of the leader I am today. God is the same. He places us in circumstances or opportunities we don’t feel qualified to be in; that make us question why we are in the room. But with Him, there is always a purpose to our path. So while we can’t always control whether our chair at the table, metaphorical or literal, is warranted or makes sense to us, we can control what we do with the opportunity it provides. We can learn and grow and lead and walk in faith that we are where we are because God so clearly has a plan for us. So glad you and Nick both walked in faith with this tour and shared your stories with us today!

Thank you so much for this Spirit led conversation! I've been in tears throughout because I haven't felt like I belong in the spaces I'm in, let alone where I am being called to, but God encouraged me so much to stay faithful in what and where I am, and leave the rest to Him! If only 1 encounters God through my obedience, it's enough because I know what it feels like to be the 1 He's had to leave the 99 to remove from the pit. So much confirmation. Maybe God placed you (Allie) on this tour so you would have these conversations that you may not have had unless you were there, and He had something to tell us!
