What's the difference between update partial update and delete in Amazon? Someone told me that I should always choose partial update in case you will have an error on your listing you can easily edit it? Question when amazon has glitch. Like error in product category, should we just edit it by ourselves?

In partial update, amazon just updates the attributes which you have changed and does not do anything with blank attributes. Like if you left a attribute blank but it had some value in listing, partial update won't make that blank. To answer your question, you need to edit it and upload it and then check if it works or not

Its as per amazon guidelines, maryam. Sometimes, when any of your product attribute gets locked or there is very sudden and drastic change in your ranks then amazon team often asks you to delete and reupload the listing

any reason to delete ASIN and re upload after 24 to 48 hours via flat file? If its only a few ASINS i tend to just upload manually. I find flat files causes a lot of errors. But must I used flat file upload here?

Its easy with flat file. Save the category listing report data and fill that in flat file.

It means when a competitor runs sponsored display, sponsored products ads on your listing then the traffic from your listing can click on his ads and buy his product.
