Our State registry link only goes to the business lookup it will not go to our actual business page google must type in the business name and they won't do it.

Mine got suspended because a competitor suggested an edit to remove it from maps. Google wont relist it because my EIN document has a different address (my house) than the business. We don't even share the business location publicly because we're a service business. We work at our clients homes. It's so frustrating lol

My business is one of the oldest listing in the town nearly 15years old and all of sudden they have just suspended and I have about 140 reviews on google plus 500 on TA and not sure why it got suspended and now I have send them phone bills pictures Travel company papers and my business was also in news papers I have submitted all the paper work. They are never very clear about why they get suspended. It's possible someone reported your listing for some reason. It could also just be their automated systems doing it. Perservere and you will get your listing back online. I reocmmend reading the GMB terms and conditions and making 100% sure that your listing does not break any rules. In my experience, as soon as I get ahold of an actual person that works at Google (always via email), I am able to get the listing reactivated pretty quickly. I always tell them that I reviewed the terms and conditions and checked my entire listing and am positive I am not breaking any rules. I hope you can get it back soon. I know how damaging this can be to a business.

You have to go in an appeal the decision. My listing just got suspened on Sunday and I was able to get it reinstated today by appealing the decision.

We have a home based air-conditioning and plumbing business. With no signage, we dispatch to peoples homes no need for the homeowners to come to our place of business. Is that causing my listing to be suspended before I even get started?

Most of the time when a listing gets suspended right away it's becaues Google wants to make sure you'er not a spammer or scammer. When you contact them for reinstatement they'll give you the option to do a video call with them to prove you're legit. Once you get through that, it should be all good. It's always a good idea to read through their terms of service to make sure you're not accidentally breaking the rules.

I filled out the reinstatement request form, but only added my electric bill to it. Once i got the email, i replied back 3 days later with my Tax ID and my business license which has the address. That is all the info i sent. I see several people now recommend to send in video and pictures of the store. Should i do this with a new request form? or just reply back to the email i initially got from google? It has been over 2 weeks. Google has not responded at all, and the case remains "in progress" for 14 days and counting. Thank you for taking the time to explain the process.

It sounds like you have provided ample proof. Make sure your listing following the guidelines. Most of it is common sense. We have seen a bunch of suspended listings go live in the last few days after weeks or months of playing this game. Hopefully it’s a signal that Google is taking care of the problems. There’s no rhyme or reason to it so let’s hope this doesn’t continue.

@@chuckthecontractor they just reinstated me today. It took about 16 days. But, my account is missing all recent pictures from my new location. It's as if they reinstated my account from 5 years ago. In either case, I'm happy, I just hope I don't loose my place on Google search

after creating listing then it went into suspended, I filed reinstatement with proof of tradename certificate from the State government. Google denied reinstatement. The hours of operation on Google listing showed as closed. Can that affect the reinstatement?

I wish I did. We've been having trouble with GMBs too. Every time we create a listing it gets suspended. We have to go through a bunch of hoops and since I made this video, it seems that we're dealing with automations and not people so it's become harder. Even after sending proof, they're giving us grief. We're still trying different options. Good luck!

I fought Google for several months They threatened to remove listing. After several emails back and forth Google my Business wanted to mediate via phone. The agent .did call we talked I described my company as a finish carpenter, and how it operates. I receive a call from a client to discuss a project, we meet and I gather the details. Once I have everything create a materials list present the price, from their visit a building center or lumber yard depending. Similar to how a builder operates, She understood and did verify my company as legitimate. She suggested to show visitors that its not a photo of my house or one for sale, to take pictures during the project as proof of I built the deck or installed the trim etc . It was that simple, she was very polite, kind and understanding may you if challenged by Google my Business she is the one to call.

We've been in the moving industry for 35 years but our address was always displayed incorrectly but my parents didn't care because we were 99% word of mouth or repeat moving business. I've taken over and I'm trying to get us started with a website, advertising online and most importantly Google my Business so I can also start paying for ads too. Unfortunately, even after doing this video proof showing our home office is our 'business location' that's not enough and I've went back and forth about 4-5 emails already with them and they take at least 2-3 days to respond and its the same auto response. I've sent them tax id numbers, license numbers and everything showing that address. Recently I even sent them email saying they can take down all addresses completely if we can't use our home address because we don't have signage but just need access again so we can continue to have reviews and have control of that business listing. Any advice?

@@Yinaria Hi Yinaria. I was just in Munich a couple of weeks ago! I think you have a couple options. 1. You can contact Google support and say you want to remove this business from Google. 2. You can remove this business from your account. This will just make it so the profile is not associated with your account. Do you have other business listings associated with this account?

Customer support… is that a real thing at Google? But all jokes aside can you reply back an email address or link. I have having a terrible time. I’ll try to keep this short…. I’ve been on Google maps for a little over a year. (Maybe 8 5-star reviews) The original building I was renting at didn’t have a mailbox so to get listed I had to do a video walk through, make a sign, and business cards with that address. It was a pain but after 2 video walk throughs they listed us… Over the year the only thing I did was add several pictures…. Fast forward I wake up 6.3.24 to an email telling me I’m suspended for deceptive content. I have no idea why. Because I’m trying to figure out why I’m finding things that maybe could have been the reason but the appeal got rejected. I don’t know how this works but I will take any advice.

When I made the first request it automatically switched me to my personal account which is associated with my business account, it does that if you click a link even if you are signed into the business google account. So I got a response but it was to an email I didn’t expect. I replied to the email and gave them documentation, only for them to say I need to resubmit the request with the business email. Ok, I did that. Then I get an email saying “you already submitted a request, please reply to the original email.” Google has disabled all other forms of contact they used to have except for email. This is a nightmare.

We moved last year after being in one location for over 20 years. When we settled in our new location I thought I updated our information, but I must have missed a step. I just recently tried to edit and update additional information and realized my listing was suspended. I tried again to edit my info which was probably adding to the problem. Then I filled out the reinstatement form, I attached my local biz license, etc., but now it looks like they've removed my listing completely. I'm now lost as to how to move forward. I responded to the first email and they sent it back saying my business ID/URL was incorrect, but I really wasn't sure exactly what they needed. This was a very gray area and I obviously got it wrong. All this to say, I've made multiple attempts and edits which was not the right thing to do, but I wasn't aware of how to go about it at the time. WHAT IF ANYTHING CAN I DO FROM THIS POINT? Being in a new area is critical that our listing is back up on google. I hope you can give me some advice on how to get this mess corrected. THANKS

You can get your listing back... Just fill out the appeal form and keep trying. We've never had a listing we couldn't get unsuspended. Sometimes we have to try a few times.

​@@hopngotours9884 Oh yes, there are a lot of people trying to capitalize on this. I get calls all the time asking if I want to pay them to get my listing live but it's already live... It's just a scam The only thing you can do is fill out the appeal form and do what Google tells you to do. It takes 2-7 days to get a response. It's never taken us more than a few weeks to get a listing live and we've done it 100's of times.

You can create a new listing but you will lose the reviews you have. Also, Google does not like multiple listings existing for the same business. It's easy to make the problem worse. The best thing to do is insist on getting the suspension reinstated. The last 2 times we did this it took one day so it's totally doable.

Check the terms and conditions of Google My Business. It says you can use a virtual office as long as it's staffed during business hours. You must be able to demonstrate your business operates out of there and your business must fit the category of businesses aloud on Google Maps in the first place. support.google.com/business/answer/3038177

We have found success by contacting google using an email associated with your website domain. If you use Google workplace, it's even better. You should be able to get a response... How are you inquiring?
