Come along with Josh and Rachael as they get to Barbados, where they try to take advantage of some beautiful weather, drinks and food. We even got to see the largest Horse Race on the Island by checking out the Barbados Gold Cup. Dinner at Tapas, and try out Fish Cakes at a couple local spots.

Hey peeps ! Wow I haven’t been to Barbados since I was in college back in the day . I stayed at the Marriott Sam Lords Castle which sadly burned down in 2010 I think . It was a beautiful resort ..very secluded and the main hotel was the mansion that belonged to pirate Sam Lord . It’s a great island. Looking forward to the rest of the cruise 🚢 videos 😎😎😎

Been to Barbados twice years ago, stayed at the Butterfly Beach, I'd so love to go back some day. It seems to be easier to get to from the UK with direct flights from London

We have never tried flying to Barbados before a cruise. We did fly to Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Vancouver before our cruises though. Barbados looked very appealing as a day adventure before the cruise. The Island looks beautiful and more active than you would expect. Sadly, no nice restaurants to try on Sunday. We have only been on one smaller ship out of 17. Vision of the Seas was too small for our taste. It was our transportation throughout Hawaii (4 islands), then up to Vancouver and Victoria, BC. We loved that cruise. As always, thank you for sharing great information and a Birds Eye view of your vacation. ❤

Thanks Ted, Rhapsody is in the same ship class as Vision of the Seas. We chose this cruise simply for the Itinerary, no seas days, 6 different countries!

But only to Las Vegas (that's my "go to" spot ) You guys are so adventurous and will try anything to eat! You are so honest, trusting and down to earth sometimes I worry about your safety! We chose this cruise because of the intense itinerary! We were on a much smaller ship and were able to get to countries we hadn’t been to yet! It was also a casino offer, so we only paid port fees and taxes for the cruise itself! Thanks for watching!

travel was a little easer for me my three trips. SFO to Miami to Barbados. Still took the entire day. only life savor was the beach on my feet and rum punch in my hand.

Love your video! We would like to do the same cruise, did you leave from Barbados? I looked on the Royal Carribean site and don't see any that leaves from Barbados only Puerto Rico.

Shoot it looks like they don't have the same itinerary any longer. It was perfect for us since it helped us get to so many new countries for us. It looks like Puerto Rico on Jewel of the Seas is the closest option you can get now.

Thanks for that review! One of the reasons I won't go to Barbados is because of lack of direct flights. I always fly out of Newark/EWR thru United and United only flies to Barbados directly from Dulles. My other choice is JFK airport with JetBlue, but JFK which is WAY too far for me. There are plenty of other Caribbean islands that fly directly out of EWR/United but unfortunately, Barbados isn't one of them

Great question tough answer. If simply looking for an amazing Beach Day we love Coco Cay in the Bahamas. But for culture,sights, excursions etc Josh leans Dominica and Rachael is between St Vincent and St Lucia. 3 of them were on this excursion which is why it was easily our favorite Caribbean cruise overall!
