I was sent a box of broken glass and this will be the second object I attempt to make from it. It is an ambitious project at best. Any bets on how things will go?

This year has been hard on everyone, myself included, and the idea that something broken can come together to form a whole piece is uplifting. While I know I'm not alone in this sentiment, I've lost an important family member this year, and my Mom and I have bonded through watching your videos to help work through the loss. Somehow, you inspired her, a 52 year old Stroke Survivor with use of only one of her arms, and not even the one she used to write with, to start painting again. Thank you, Peter. When you build the lamp, make the base in two halves connected with a line of the resin/broken glass mixture. Then maybe put color changing LED in the base as an added wow factor.

Many, many years ago, the John Hancock Building in Boston used to lose windows regularly (they'd just fall out) and I worked in an art gallery that featured sculptures by an artist who used the broken glass to make his art.

I've had a lamp for over 20 years, and for most of that time, I've wanted a broken glass globe for it. I've looked and looked for one, yet before today, I've never seen such a thing. Now that I know they are possible, I wished that I were crafty enough to build one.

My mom passed away from an 8 year battle with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2013. I had her ashes made into a glass pendant. I wore it on a chain around my neck where she was close to my heart. My niece was holding it when I was pushing her in a cart as a toddler and she gave a yank and broke the chain and the loop on the pendant broke. I have been in search of a glass blower/artist to repair it ever since and no one would try. This gave me an idea! 💡 It could be cast in resin and form a new loop! I know no one thats works such wonders with resin other than you!
