Reminds me of lily pads. The contrasting sapwood really makes the end grain pop. The cracks are part of the unique look. The adjustable legs are just another amazing part of this piece.

Man you are an artist. It is certainly a masterpiece. I like your videos because there is no commentary, just soothing music and your dedicated work. Black filling really create a good impression as compared to a candyland pink, red, green etc.

Amazing color. I always watch those videos, some are sped up and projects are finished within 15 to 20 minutes. And then me sanding for hours in my shop like crazy. If I'm finished with a staircase and an oak and epoxy kitchen island my next project will be a desk.This video reminded me, I have some wild plum tree stumps stored somewhere, dried for years now.

I love this table. If I could recreate it, I’d just outline each slice in a thin layer of gold. It reminds me of a bunch of mushrooms in the woods!

Plum has such a beautiful colour, common ash pre cut and left in the woods can gain a deep red tint as well due to bacteria. The black mould in neglected maple logs can also make a stunning pattern, if caught before the wood rots.

@@jonnywright3995 Not this time. This is a very dense wood that was barely going to absorb. In addition, I used very little black stain in the epoxy. There hasn't been any staining issue.

When we started, we had all kinds of artists from many parts of the world, including very poor countries. I noticed that there are subtle bullies in art industry where a well established artist would see an incredible art created by a newbie, who just joined, and say things like, wow who would have thought you created this! Amazing work man! I cant believe you created this! etc. While it may seem like a compliment, its in a way putting the person down. I am glad you are a very positive person. I just stand up to bullying when I see it, even if it's unintentional. Eitherways I enjoyed your work, and I hope to see more of your work.

Absolutely inspiring. I have cookies cut from oak trees that were blown over in hurricane Harvey in Texas from Rock Port. I have been wondering exactly what to do with them.
