I finally had to break down and tell my friends that I’m a reseller so that they would save boxes for me! I used to not tell anyone that I was a reseller! 😂

I've also been contemplating what to do with Whatnot. It's obvious that for the most part, the ONLY people that come to my Whatnot sales are other resellers, and if I don't start things at $1 or $2, no one bids. And when things do sell, they 99% of the time, sell for the starting bid of $1. I've had a sale where no one bought a single item, but I spent/lost money on the giveaway I did!! I've not done a giveaway since. I agree that Whatnot seems to be full of resellers and lacks a real buyer/collector audience. I think Whatnot seems to be a better platform to sell collector/sports cards, etc. I'm truly disappointed with the results of sales, and the lack of support from Whatnot itself. For example, they never could fix the photo uploading issue, so they just stopped responding to my emails. Girl, I love your inventory!! ❤️❤️

@@primrosecollectibles Organized??... hahaha... Camera tricks my dear 😉!! Lol, I try to be, but you know how it is reselling from home, it takes over a little bit of everywhere! I have a Whatnot sale this Saturday, and then... I'm not sure if I continue on there when I get back in town. I've been thinking about transitioning over to Niknax for more live sales, and of course contributing eBay. I keep reminding myself that although it's fun and truly a passion of mine, reselling ain't for the weak, lol!! ❤️❤️

@@PiecesOfThePastKC84lol well you look more organized than me! And yes, it does take over your house when you are a reseller. I have stuff under my bed in boxes and my husband has no idea it’s there. 😂It’s a lot of work but I do love it!

@@primrosecollectibles My husband typically "chooses" not to see my inventory, but then when I'm prepping things to list he acts like I've just recently acquired it. "Where did this come from, I've never seen it before?" I just laugh and tell him it's a mystery he's got to solve for himself!! 🤣
