They should have ended Part 1 before Community Day, and started Part 2 afterwards. Running events on top of each other simply diluted the experience. I'm personally missing over half of the wild spawn shiny from Part 1, and very slim chance to get any more in final 24 hours due to the overlap. Oh well.

Hey ZoëTwoDots! Merry Christmas to you all in Newcastle and everyone who reads this. I just finished up my small vacation in Georgia with my parents, saw my sister and her family, and saw the area that she lives in. It was an amazing time but now, I’m heading back to my cold and snowy home but it’s ok. I had a great pre Christmas trip and did a lot of fun and it’s not even 1/4 of what they showed me. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas too.

Yup...there were not enough of the holiday event mons for both part 1&2 in hours outside the 2 - 5 timing. Was chuffed to get a shiny costume wooloo from an incence after the comm day hours, and randomly hatched a slowpoke with the 2020 hat from a 2k egg

I love mizeria so much, my favourite salad of all time. Tastes divine with young potatoes (those you scrub, they always have a very thin peelable skin after being cooked), chopped onions fried with dill, making a perfect summer dinner. Some regions of poland serve it with sugar, which I never understood (team salt). My family usually makes bigos and pierogi z kapustą i grzybami for the holidays, and of course the potato salad (sałatka ziemniaczana), it's very nice to be at home during that. Happy holidays!

Yesterday I baked pfeffernusse cookies, also have a craving for some potato latkes. I live in the US (South eastern area) and we get cold (woke up to 19F/-7C) so lots of icy roads, plus we don't get a lot of snow but we get rain. Accidents are horrible. I know first responders and the call volume is a huge spike here as well around all holidays, the road conditions make it worse.

Merry Christmas you guys! We always do the same thing. On Christmas Eve we have ham, smoked salmon, baby potatoes, salad, pickles, and brie. We’re from England so, no matter how hot Christmas Day is, it’s the full traditional lunch with roast turkey, potatoes, kumara, carrots, broccoli, gravy, and stuffing. Followed by a food coma on the couch. Looks like rain this year so hopefully not too muggy!

As fun as Community Day is, the overlapping of events soured it for me. I only had yesterday to play and finish up the final timed research, all I had left was to catch a few more ice types, but it was only Community Day spawns, so I missed out on the research. :/ I wish they spaced out the events, otherwise it just makes it impossible for some people to play and actually get the rewards. Otherwise though, holidays has been fun! Already had some dinners with family and will be visiting my new niece :) Hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

Christmas dinner x2 for me! Daytime will be my family, a classic Christmas roast dinner And then my boyfriends at night, traditional Nigerian food, so Jollof rice, fried rice, smoked turkey, plantain! Wish I had your weather. It was ONLY 20° DEGREES out today so had to stay inside. Only got 7 Shinies during the Community Day Event. Also unfortunately due to the clash with the Community Day event Weekend I didn't get a Shiny Sandygast, and Dedenne...

I wont lie, I am really disappointed with the whole Holiday event this year. Part 1 had all the costumes hidden in raids and eggs, I personally barely saw Sandygasts in the wild making it hard to hunt (of course I didnt get the shiny), Community Day had to not only take up the entire last day of part 1 but also ruined the first day of part 2 when REALLY there is no reason for the comm day spawns to be going from 9 am to 9 pm, especially when they arent boosted except for that 3 hour window every day. If anything they should have had the comm day spawns replace the normal seasonal spawns but still have the holiday spawns be the majority of the pokemon you see until that 3 hour window happens. And now of course part 2 is just...dark types with one costume and the new shiny is hidden once again in raids. Theres really no fun reason to go out and hunt in the wild because at the end of the day Wooloo is a costume pokemon and it's just not that important. The wild spawns suck, theres nothing in the raids, I dont know of a single person actually wasting time on the Mega Lati duo raids. It's like they put all of their brain power into making the wild area event and then went "aw geez we dont have the budget for Christmas. Quick put out Murkrow and Rattata!". And I know the whole theming is black and white but they really could have waited to do an event highlighting Black and White as a lead up to the Unova Tour and NOT ruined the entire 2 week christmas event cluster. Ok sorry about the rant but this is REALLY annoying me and it's really driving me away from wanting to play the game. It's just not fun anymore.

I will say that this Holiday part 2 event is a bit underwhelming in my opinion. Very much looking forward to Christmas, canny wait to stuff my face full of a roast dinner 🤩 the Mothership’s birthday is the 27th and we have a fun outing planned for the day. My next year, Pokemon Go community day prediction. Generation 9 Starters Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly. Jangmo O, Pikipek, Klink ( Magearna make it debut in Pokemon Festival 2025) Larvesta ( after Unova tour) 😬🥶 Pawniard, Darumaka, Zorua ( Hisuan Zorua debut during com day) Pawmi and Smoliv (Pokemon Go 9th year anniversary) Have 12 Pokemon Go community day and hope 1st ever Pokemon theme for December then recap Pokemon community day for the same entire year. Niantic, you need to change the community day pattern to make the game more interesting.

Why don't to take a break for December community day if players are busy with hunting shinies community on past 11 community days in the same year. I think Niantic also trying to give us a rest in silence. I always hope to change the pattern of December community day by introducing a term Pokemon because it still have many Pokemon eligible to become community day term Pokemon but it never be happen forever.

What Pokemon do you all expect in 2025? Definitely no new generation 10 Pokemon in Pokemon Go even though introduce in Pokemon era. This is 9 th year old Pokemon Go it must be featuring something from generation 9 Pokemon. Paradox form Pokemon from Generation 9 including the Paradox form Legendaries Pokemon. Mascot Legendary Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Miraidon & Koraidon. Quadrio Chinese like name legendary and Trio Japanese like Legendary?

Spawns where trash. Yesterday was my birthday and I didn't even bother walking. Today it's in the negatives where I live with the wind chill making more extremely cold so I don't think I'll be even participating in part 2. Already have all the shiny pokemon from com day so not really caring about missing out. The part 2 event is straight trash nothing exciting nothing making the event good. Just boring spawns a big let down from last December my opinion of course. Just hope next year is a lot better for this game I already know there is going to be paid tickets "to make the experience better" 🙄 but hopefully it does been playing alot more TCG pocket more lately.
