I work in the environmental/climate data industry and yesterday we had an impromptu all-staff meeting talking about what will happen if funding gets cut for a lot of pollution control agencies and climate control companies that use our product. Mainly, it’ll be either pay cuts or job losses. In other words, Trump getting elected immediately put not just my job but most other jobs in my field in danger. Thanks America, very cool! I should also mention that we don’t focus on climate change. Mainly water pollution. Our company’s main job is to process and keep track of water pollution data for pollution control agencies. And the companies that hire us are likely getting their funding cut. This is what you voted for. To have less companies monitoring how much PFAS is in your drinking water.

My fiance is a foreign citizen too. I don't believe this ruling would affect the ability to marry a foreign citizen, but them automatically becoming a US citizen through marriage is in jeopardy. There are still workarounds for them to still move to America under visa limitations, but over time, they should still be able to apply "legally" or at least hold out long enough for the next democratic president. But I'm right there with you. My fiance lives in Japan. Apart from the work culture, the country is better than the US in every way.

I'm 74 and retired but I have a small income working part time for a friend who imports a product from China. I'm supposed to make a 10% commission on each sale but because of the 25% tariff that Trump put in place in 2016, I make 3%. If Trump does what he says that he's going to do, which is to increase the tariff to 60%, I won't make anything and the guy I work for will go out of business. Trump is too thick to understand that tariffs are, essentially, a tax paid by the importer. What trump does to Social Security and Medicare is something else that I have to worry about.

It is best if you get titers done to make sure all your vaccines took and get boosters if you need them. I decided to listen to the pharmacist about Hep B in our area and didn’t bother with paying for titers and just got the vaccine. As an educator the comments of education worry me. Schools are already somewhat still segregated since the wealthy class has already made sure of that. These parents choice only makes it worse since this will lead to more segregated schools. Kids being denied education due to behavior problems will target minority groups for sure. I work at international energy company. I haven't heard YET how this will affect the prices of steel that we purchase. Also have a sister with 3 kids, 1 is mixed race. She and her boyfriend voted Trump. If denaturalization happens, i would have no sympathy for her. The kids on the other hand would have to suffer for their decisions.
