What to expect visiting Notre-Dame in 2025 (getting tickets, wait times and tour)

I was there Saturday 1/4/2025 and the wait was "only" 40 minutes. The line at the time, as best as I can describe, started and went back to those bleachers, did a u-turn back towards the church, then another u-turn towards the bleachers again - the end of the line. ****IT MOVED QUICKLY*** And it was well worth the visit, very impressive rebuild.

It was super busy when we went there just before Christmas. The Place Jean Paul was packed with people. Great video as always and thank you for the tips on when to go 😅

YES I remember 🥴 that’s when all the news station were reporting that there were 2h30 wait times… I think with the French Christmas holiday tourism gone we’re just back to regular winter international tourism so there are much smaller crowds

I had a timed entry ticket on 01-07 at 11:00am; got there at 9:55am because of the stories I'd read about lengthy lines but I got in almost immediately; there was no one in the no-reservations line. I left around 11:30am and the no-reservations line was about halfway across the plaza. So get there early in the morning. The restored interior is stunning - the video nicely captures how bright it is now (always seemed a bit gloomy in the past).

Hahaha im not sure, my creative direction for this one was probably influenced by how I think it’s kind of incredible that so much was rebuilt from rubble after the fires… the song is called “reawakening” which is thought was fitting 😆
