Nice! You sound like a sports reporter giving a report of the going ons. I got three quail chicks about 4wks old but the male disappeared into the bush. Those things are fast!! He just jumped out and dashed for the bush even before I could bend over to pick him up. Lesson learnt, though.

Yes, as when the bird first hatched the only place their getting nutrients from is their own yolks, so it isn't absurd that their eating yolks.

Give him water..a shallow dish with pebbles in it to stop them from drowning...u have to teach all baby birds how to drink...tap the dish repeatedly, they will get the idea.

My quails chicks are dead 💀 😭 because of food so IAM realize don't hatch quail eggs without food

Oh no. That's such a shame, poor little chicks :( Quail chicks are very fragile when they first hatch out and do need food quite quickly. But at least you know for next time and can get everything ready for them :)
