Share your experience. What have you been told "should be easy" but is in fact difficult for you, and why?

One I like to use: "Hey, we all have our talents, and this just isn't one of mine." The implication being that there are also going to be those things that I will find much easier than someone else, and that any belittlement directed towards might come back to bite you when the situation changes.

Every single person struggles with something, does not matter who you are. The only difference is some people admit it and some don't.

Spicy! He said: this should be easy. I said: great! I've had a hard time with it, thanks for taking care of it for me. (Then I hand him the shovel and walk away before he can say anything.) 💖🌞🌵😷

@@CassieWinter, I figure everytime he says how easy it is... and I make him do it... eventually, he'll stop saying how easy it is. 😉. 💖🌞🌵😷

The only thing that's easy for me is to stay in a nice warm bed and watch videos. Today, I have energy, but every bone in my body aches... Tomorrow's forecast is for rain.😢. Sending lots of love 💖 from sunny 🌞 Arizona 🌵 USA. Take care of yourself and each other 😷.

Perfect timing because I just had a horribly invalidating and gaslighting therapist appointment today. Don't know what I'm gonna do after this because this was my absolute last resort and now there seems to be nothing else in sight but thank you for the validation because I seriously needed it.

Ally gamer01 I went through 4 therapists before I found a good one. It is not easy. i thought all therapists could help but not the case for me and I got so fed up and decided to read as many books I could on depression and anxiety which is what I needed help with and tried to self educate myself as much as I could. While I did that, I finally found a good therapist. I was told by many people not to give up as the right therapist will come along and am glad I kept looking. One thing I would highly recommend though is also to read on subjects you need help with as there is only so much a therapist can cover in one session at a time. That is my experience.Wish you wellness.

My - I guess - "boss" likes to make this kind of comments, or rather, he holds lengthy talks about how ridiculous it is that people are unable to do those easy things, preferably in meetings where you are kind of forced to sit there and listen to it... For example, of course without being asked for it, he gave advise to everybody how to quit smoking "Just stop - it's that simple" He never smoked. Even though I don't smoke myself either, this kind of ignorance really makes me mad. Is he saying that addiction doesn't exist?

This is such a great video.. A big thing for me lately is clearing out my bedroom and livingroom. I have no idea how to do either of these things. Just clearing off my side table and putting things away is a problem because I never know where to put things where I'll know they're easy to find! Then I get the "we need to get this done so we can do X Y and Z", but I'm just "how, physically, do I find places to put things when I have daily brain fog and can't visualise how things will look until they've actually been set up that way. Thank you again. I'm going to share this on Facebook too.

@@CassieWinterplanning for brain fog woukd be a great topic. I have brain fog off and on sometimes unexpectedly. Having routines and plan B to lead yourself thru the fog if alone helps a lot. If there is a known time of day that’s predictable then setting aside time and space and making a plan, setting things out, minimizing decision based and maximizing autopilot routine until you are clear headed helps me a lot. Even a to do list, a started shopping list or commonly purchased things so I don’t need to feel like I’m reinventing the wheel to get shopping done. I’ve been ordering groceries when I don’t feel up to shopping and all the decision making. It costs more sometimes but then I can move on to some other task or just take time to rest my brain and do the decision making later. Decision fatigue is heavy when we are suffering brain fog or pain or other spoonie disruptions of a normal flowing thought process. I just discovered your channel and am with highest respect for you that you are working. The content is such a gift.
