This has been so helpful. I can not thank you enough for helping me understand that it is not wrong to stand up for myself… do it in a descent and respectable manner. You are helping to restore my peace. 💕So grateful.

I like it that this young man is in a car. I do not know his reasons, but, I what I like about it is its small, intimate space; and to me it looks cute, like he is just on his way somewhere and he's talking to a friend.

It's a little unnerving how you pinpoint my weaknesses in every single one of the numerous videos I have seen thus far....& have saved so I can watch over & over again to automatically remember in the time of need. So, thank you!! (Just wish I learned all this years ago; would have saved a lot of hurt & heartbreak, BUT at least I am learning it now!) The book idea mentioned in the Comments is a good idea.

Just counted them: 30 videos! They are short, easy to digest the content & laser-focused. So empowering. And more coming! Again, thanks!!

That is for me a new one, when you put up with someone that does that all the time, I get used to it. Most of the time I say I do it wrong , o I am doing it wrong again, you are so perfect that is not human . And That happened only the best. I write this done ..this is new for me thanks 👍

Yes but only if you have low expectations of influencing how they treat you going forward and only if you are confident enough in your ability to know you can find another job if needed i.e. you are not beholden to your employer. Tread lightly due to the power dynamic.

Family members who do this are tough to redirect. One screams every word at me. When I speak softly, it doesn't work to turn their volume down. What to do?
@LukasJohns8 күн бұрын
Ask quietly if they’ve had their hearing checked lately 😮 when they ask why, tell them gently & with a smile, that it’s due to their constant high volume.

Bot confused between this and the disrespect one ? Isn't it the same when he said say " the way you're talking is beneath me " ??
