My wife and I have been down that West Nebraska Highway more than once in our Class A. One of my favorite places to drive. Just be careful driving down into Oregon cuz it's a steep one with a stop at the bottom. Be aware of the Semis around you when going down steep grades. Sometimes they can't scrub off speed as fast as you can, and you need to help them by not being a slow moving road hazzard in their path. My neighbor has buffalo in his yard. Texas!

When you were checking your tires with your hand, it put me in mind of years ago, I found a wooden stick at the truck stop that had about a 1/2 pound weight on the end. You would slap the tires with the stick and you learned which ones were aired up and which ones were soft. I thought it was useful. You might as well. Just a thought.

Holy Buffalo! I would have been uncomfortable too! No way would I have done that even though they were semi domesticated. I live in Montana and every year we watch people get gored in Yellowstone. I'm to big a chicken! I'm glad you had a safe experience but I'm like you, it was to close for comfort.

Hello Don and Mela. I was raised in Nebraska and it is beautiful. Everyone says it's flat, but they have never got off the interstate to see the rest of the state. Hope you enjoy your stay in Nebraska 🤗. That is so cool to be out with the bison 🦬🥰.

that was a great video. getting so close to bison and giving them treats. I think I would have been a bit weary as well. It was also good to see your preperations to travel. there is so much involved that we don't know about. like making absolutely everything strapped down

I enjoy your videos. I enjoyed hearing and seeing your perspectives about everything in this video. I too have a 40' bus conversion and hence my attraction to your channel. I drive trucks and buses regularly, so your description about the size is interesting. But in addition to that, I am a rancher here in NE NM. We raise beef cattle, however, size is similar and the dangers are certainly the same. But we regularly work them on foot and take for granted our knowledge and experience vs the novice. So this video was really interesting. Thanks again.

You are so right about Garmin, it’s really annoying. Yes you have to remember to put everything away and fasten all drawers etc, rather stressful. There has been a few occasions when I’ve driven off to only hear a bang, so pull over to find something has come loose. Thank you for helping to protect our beautiful Scotland. ❤️❤️

I think it's GREAT that you are continuing to show us the reality of having a schoolie, which may not be as good or as many rainbows and sunshine days as sometimes it appears to be from TV or any other social media standpoint/view. But also as well as the still amazing, good, happy and fun filled day of adventure. Keep on schooling and God bless you both on your travels. Cannot wait for the next amazing adventure/video.❤

Just a footnote, there coach is nit a schoolie. A schoolie is a former school bus and is a completely different type of vehicle.

Once again thanks for sharing, I really look forward to your next videos as a short but inspirational time out for my own build, I know you know the feeling of frustration when things don't always go to plan! but don't get me wrong because that is also tempered with elation & satisfaction when finally everything works out, just seeing you achieve your goals and enjoying the magic that is life on the road is enough to motive me to once again unlock the bus & get back to the build, stay safe & thanks again.

I don’t think I ever thought you two would make it but you did,and the both of you should be very proud of yourself. B.T.W. the bus you two built is just.gorgeous and your mom and dad deserve a lot of credit never forget them. You should rename the bus “One bite at a time”.

Hello, I just ‘discovered’ you tonight NOV 22 07TH, SO YOU DO NOT USE a DEDICATED,GPS ? They do make them for bus/truck, but you must input your vehicle figures into it, never get a low’ bridge, weight restriction, toll road etc NEVER USE ONE MADE FOR JUST CARS… SO the BISON,,got you scared,eh ? Nice bus, need a tour, Pleasant trips, happy trails, God Bless you, Next time,,,,,,,,🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Hello Flyby Airplane and welcome to the channel! Both the App we us (RVLife) and the Garmin are for traveling in a big rig. You input your height, length, weight etc in so it finds only roads that are safe for us to drive down.
