I flew Air Asia Almaty-KL-Bali-Perth-KL-Almaty. The screens were turned off on all flights and what was slightly inconvenient was this also meant the USB charger was also not working. However I found the flight comfortable the crew pleasant and it was good value for money. I have lived in Kazakhstan for 17 years, many changes for the better in that time.

This specific plane is better than other AirAsia planes, because it was meant to be for Philippine Airlines, but they cancel order and AirAsia buy instead. That's why the screen was not working, and the seat is more comfortable. Lucky for you.

Wow, actually, Kazakhstan is one of the first country i would like to visit in Central Asia being the most developed ( from what i heard ), They have nice nature scenery, Though i know , the people there speak Russian ( due to past - Soviet era ), and i have fascinated with Soviet rellics which they still can found up to this day.
