The only character from the Rings of Power that is doing justice to the source material. Greatest achievment definently the fall of Sauron but also everything that has led to that was just so badass

Leader of the faithful, lord of Andunië, 1st King of Arnor and the high-king of the Dunedain. Fought Sauron himself on the slopes of mount doom and fathered a dynasty that would outlast the malice of the Witch-King. The antithesis of Ar-Pharazon. The true King of Men. What is not to love about this noble and epic hero.

Tolkien is the master of imagination and intrigue. He would never been as fixed as many of his now fans seem to be. He changed his mind, and I'm sure he would of been a master at adaptation of his works to the big screen. It's sad that many fans lack his imagination, but then, that's why their a fan and not a creator.

Elendil basically translates to lover of the stars. He truly was one of the faithful.

Elendil's greatest achievement was the collaborative leadership by which he TOGETHER WITH OTHERS physically defeated Sauron while Sauron was wearing and wielding the One Ring. JRRT avoided writing Elendil into ridiculous heights of successfulness.

I wonder why the two kingdoms never really border each other throughout most of their history? Why didn't they expand outwards until they did?
@TheBrokenSword3 ай бұрын
My guess is they didn’t have the population numbers to spread too far, and as they had their strongholds in the North and South they considered that to be enough :)

@@TheBrokenSword that would make sense in the short run but they did have several hundred years of peace after defeating sauron and that imagine many of the middlemen lights have been willing to become subjects of theirs. I know at one point Gondor during its golden age expanded to the point that not only did it border them but it also enveloped most of the land around them.

To this day i believe Amandil sailed to Aman to snitch on his old friend Ar Pharazon. Only explanation that makes sense in my mind

Question: Why doesn't Bilbo see sauron when he puts on the ring?

Mae Govannon Mellon! Oh the greatest King of Men, I think it is best put in that timeless war cry, how does it go? Oh yeah that's right "ELENDIL! ELENDIL! FOR THE WEST!"

I used to work with this dude that was genuinely like 8 feet tall. (Maybe not technically) I mean He looked like he was 9 feet tall tho I’m not even kidding. he was the tallest man I’ve ever seen in real life. Anyway I always thought of Elendil every time I saw him 💪🏽 😂 True story lol

Ohh. I was fast to judge, im sorry. I guess its also unfair that the internet gives any boludo like me the chance to be a critic. Now that you say, its cool that you show the titles of the illustrations.
