A group of ducks broke into the school. I wasn't in the school at the time, but a teacher told me about this. The school had a full lockdown. Lasted 2 hours. The ducks eventually got out. Everybody started crying from so much laughter.

There was a girl from my school who ended up wrapping her car around a tree and died. She was a genuinely good person who treated everyone with kindness and compassion. Just remember to drive carefully on icy or wet roads. Getting home 10 minutes late is better than never getting home at all.

There was this girl in my school who was easily one of the nicest human beings I have ever met in my life, and anyone who knew her would tell you the same. During one of our classes, a very old and big TV which had been unused for a long time in the back of the class, fell on her, I was barely a few desks in front of the girl. I’ll never forget the instant silence after the fall. The whole class was speaking, the teacher was on her computer, and all the sudden the TV fell on her. She was talking about a few exams we were going to have the following week, and 5 seconds later she was silent, of course, the whole class went wild, a few of her friends even got spilled by the blood of the poor girl. She passed away, and seeing her grave, someone I had talked to, all left of her in this world, a cold stone surrounded by similar stones, it felt so wrong and unreal. One day she was telling me why Kung Fu Panda 2 is better than the first, and a week later she's gone forever. Her desk remained empty for the rest of the year, and damn that emptiness was felt the whole year.

Girl at the school jumped in front of a train. She was from the same year as us but a different class. It was surreal. We had seen her all the time. For the whole day, all the teachers basically just kept all of us in the classrooms and talked about what happened. They were concerned about just sending us home, and said there were journalists outside who would try very hard to talk to us, but we should say nothing. Some teachers were in tears. The whole school was in lockdown/mourning mode. It was a very silent day. Except that one chemistry teacher in her first year at the job. She had an unannounced exam planned for today, and by god, she wasn't going to let this get in the way. We all knew how hard this teacher was to argue with, and we didnt have the focus or energy. School never felt more meaningless. We all did terrible at the test. Same teacher also once had me and my friends come in on a Saturday for detention. She said someone snitched on us and we knew full well what this was about. We didn't. Not even a guess. We were boring kids. This was the only detention we ever got, and she refused to tell us what it was for. Just kept saying we knew. This teacher taught me the most valuable lessons in school: Always stand up to bullies, no matter their "authority". They'll punish you anyway, so at least earn it. I should have walked right out and shown that test to every journalist out there, and told them her name.

So this happened a while ago, like 10 years back but in my school there was a kid in year 6/grade 5 who drowned at his own birthday party... Didn't know the guy, but it was pretty shocking to everyone, apparently he was a very nice guy, had a lot of friends and was laid back and easy going, they made a bench with his name engraved onto it in his memory, it's decorated with footballs since it was his favorite sport, now because my school is an international one and also it happened a while ago, pretty much everyone who was there at the time left, except me, so whenever anyone asks me why there's a bench with the name Aldrick on it, I tell them this exact story. Shame no one really remembers him there, rest in peace Aldrick.

I’m so sorry that it’s extremely dark, but this is *the incident.* I was at a special needs school at the time, and being a parent of a special needs child can often be insanely stressful. I don’t know how my parents have lasted this long! But I know a family that weren’t so lucky… My family knew them for many years before the day happened, we were especially very close to the mother. And she helped all the Mum’s at the school with anything that they need! My mother would speak to her on an almost daily basis! But the Dad’s didn’t have such a thing. And eventually the worst happened, the Dad thought he couldn’t go on. And he built a Gas Chamber in his house and switched it on overnight killing everyone inside. Nobody knew until the next morning when the school noticed they weren’t there and nobody answered at home, so they came and saw it all. School was never the same. We were in mourning for over a year, and it became national news with all the media going crazy! There were flowers put up at their home, and at the school, and they became legends. The whole community came together for them. The kids were really talented artists and the art room were named after them. And there’s a little bench named after them that we still sit down and remember whenever we come past the school. Founded by the Acting Principal at the time, the Men’s Group was made to help the Dad’s to be able to talk about their struggles with each other, and try to find solutions together. For a long time, all the Dad’s at the school felt guilty as that one particular Dad let them all down. RIP Maria, Eliza, and Martin… We will remember…

This actually happened yesterday: These two girls thought it would be funny to do do the skullbreaker challenge. They called over this kid who they pretend to be friends with but are really bullying. So they had him stand between them and told him to jump and they kicked his legs like how you are supposed to in the challenge and he fell back into the ground. He hit his head on the ground and was literally unresponsive. When he was able to talk he couldn’t remember where he was. The worst part? The girls were telling him, “get up, we don’t wanna get in trouble.” He has to be out of school for at least a week and he cannot use electronics or do much else than just lay there in bed. This kid is annoying but I do hope he’s ok. He apparently almost broke his vertebrae.

you should tell the parents of the kid that got hurt they were bullying him. if they are over 11 years old, they theoretically could be charged with aggravated battery (a felony charge). the chances of charges actually being filed are low, but what would likely happen is the police show up to their parents' houses and scare them so bad that they might turn into good people one day.

I've got one, I once saw a girl with her friends get pulled a knife on by a super creepy boy. The boy had been stalking her all 2 years they went to the same school, and he made a "blood oath" to her by cutting his hand with a pocket knife. He also hacked her email and grades. Her friends where deeply concerned and the first year of the new school they where both in the same class. The second year, they wheren't, and one Thursday the boy was absent so the girl decided, with her friend, to fake date to get the boy off her back. The next day, the boy came back and heard the news from a gossip girl in his class. He then at recess, pulled the knife. The girl quickly told the recess monitor and he ONLY got suspended for 10 ten days. The girl was super scared all the time. Plot Twist #1: This was in 6th grade. At a gifted school. The next year, the girl was in an advanced homeroom, so every class she had the same people. The people in your homeroom shared every class. She came to find out he was in her homeroom (aka all her classes) she and her mother set a meeting with a school, who did nothing about it. It was a rough and stressful year for her. He's still a creep to this day. Plot twist #2: That girl. Was me. (Edit: damn, 10 likes? Didnt know that lol)

Last year, there was an incident at my former freshman-only school that made local news where a group of about ten students threw another student into the ceiling in an apparent social media stunt. This was known as the skittle incident in my school. A kid was eating skittles in music class and his friend wanted some. So the kid threw a skittle across the room to his friend but it hit a random student. Apparently that was the student's last straw. They got up, walked over, and promptly beat the kid up. Kid ended up in the hospital with a broken arm.
@zalamazu6 ай бұрын
Funny enough I also have a skittle throwing fight incident. There was a kid that was expelled in my middle school for throwing chairs at teachers and students in the hallway that caused a lockdown, and was somehow allowed back 2 ½ years later. I'll call him Sam. Sam is just suddenly back one random Wednesday and has gym class with me. It also didn't help that he rode the same bus I did at the end of the day. Well, two days later, he's sitting at the back of the bus and some kids are throwing skittles at him. I don't know why, but this made Sam absolutely livid. He jumped and started shoving the kids until it got so bad the bus driver stopped in the middle of the road had to intervene. I think that shocked me even more knowing how calm and gentle the driver was. Sam then targeted the bus driver, saying "I'll shoot your light out!" and started punching the bus driver. The driver is very tall and sturdy and is taking the punches like it's nothing, just trying to calm down Sam. But of course no one wanted to see the bus driver (the one who bought a whole box of chocolates a kid had for a fundraiser and then gave the chocolates to all us, gave us all glasses to watch a solar eclipse when all the other buses went home) get beaten, so one kid intervenes and blocks the driver, eventually throwing Sam out the door. We were near his bus stop anyways so the driver floors it and we're out of there. The day after, Sam threatened to shoot up the school and our whole bus, so he was not only expelled for real this time, but went to jail for having an overwhelming amount of firearms and illegal drugs. From then on the school was more strict around expulsion and I haven't heard of him sense.

Two, actually: When I was a junior, my school had a blackout due to our yearly February ice storm. Somehow a raccoon snuck in and was caught in the gym by some teachers. They've advertised that moment with T-shirts/ In senior year, some idiots decided to pull a senior prank by setting a chicken loose in the school. Administrators chased it for hours. By the time it was confined to the courtyard, the principal was so fed up with the situation that he straight-up football punted the bird. Someone took a video of it and it went viral. Caused a lot of controversy for the principal. Poor chicken.

So I have a story that would have fit here. During my sophomore year at high school, the campus would be put into what were called non-critical lockdowns, mainly to keep the students out of the halls and out of the way of the police. These were the standard operating procedure for bomb threats, which were hitting my high school at least once a week for that whole year. I don't know how many bombs were discovered or who was responsible, but this would often keep people from proceeding through their daily schedules and making it to their classes, especially since they'd still stick to their 2:30 end to the school day.

She was pretty young, but what an incredible teacher (one of the best math teachers I had). Second one was with a chill asf teacher who I had for both US history and was going to have for psychology, but around September-October he was arrested. OH HERE WE GO My high school's incident didn't start with me, but I was a huge part of it. In 8th grade, I had gotten broken up with a few months before the start of this story. I was over my ex-boyfriend and was ready to find someone else. In my career development class we had a seating chart but after the teacher took attendance she didn't mind if we moved to be with our friends so long as we did our assignments and didn't get TOO loud. I had a lot of friends in that class, but we all decided that we would do our assignments then go over to where my best friend sat, we'll call him K for privacy. One day, as I was trying to quickly do my assignment so I could go over to K and out other friends, this dude I had never talked to before, we'll call him J. I am in the Forensics program and J (as well as K) is in the debate program. I was wearing a shirt from a tournament we had recently gone to and he comes over and makes a comment. Asks for help on the assignment, I help him. We get to talking after and I never went over to K. He walks me to the band room where I get my drumsticks and music books, which he helps me collect. On the way out of the band room, we discover that he's a bus and I'm a car. To keep talking to me, he asks for my number, and I give it to him. We call that night until his phone dies, meanwhile all of my friends in that class are asking about him. We talk in class and after school for 5 days. That Sunday, he sends me a youtube video. I watch it and listen to this demented statement talking about underage intercourse and r@pe. I am obviously appalled, and I don't respond to him. But, lucky me, the day right after that was Valintine's day. I describe the incident to K and our other friends when J comes over and hands me a note. I take it from him, and he runs over to his friend, T. Out of the corner of my eye I can see J and T looking at me nervously. I open the note and he's asking me out. I show my friends and this one, A, she takes it from me and rips it up, saying that she's going to fight him. I tell her to chill and wave J over. I tell him no, show him the video, and he denies the whole thing. He stays quiet for a few weeks then fails to talk to me again. Later, he starts talking to one of my good friends, M, who has a boyfriend, F. He continues to try and talk to us both, making tiny comments and perverted advances. The next year, freshman year, he starts harassing many more girls. This includes one of my other friends, D, who he thinks he' thought he was dating but she's actually a lesbian, and never talked to him before. Me, D, and M are all furious at him when some new information came to light. 2 other friends of mine, L and N had been harassed by him before. It got so bad for N that she went "digital". (This was when you did online schooling and only came in for involved electives like Band or Forensics). We all got so fed up with him that D ended up reporting him. L told me that she had been in the same class as him when he got called into the office. Nothing was done. M went in, same thing happened. L went in, same thing happened. I went in, same thing happened. Our friend R, who was still in-touch with N, got her to come in and the same thing happened. K had seen almost all of this, and he was friends with M as well, all three of us went in, and this time they had gotten enough reports that they brought in N, L, M, D, K, R, me and J all came together. N, L, M, D and I told them what he had said and done while K and R confirmed what they could. J denied it all, and they believed him over us. Eventually, his snapchat was found. On his story, he talked about us and our situations with him. It was all there, except the parts about what he had said and done. We all took the school this new information, and every girl was asked about him. Even more that I had thought came forth and said something. He was expelled, and we all went on into better lives. Please, if you work in a school or have any ties, listen to the girls the first time. Do something. Please.

There was one incident I remember from school. I was Grade 7, First Year of Highschool at the time. This happened during the school's lunch period where everything was just chill and stuff, the usual. Then all of a sudden there was like, white smoke in the place where the Cooking room is.( we call it TLE/Hele room). All the students looked very surprised and intrigued on what is happening. Turns out, the cause of the commotion is another Grade 7 student (I schoolmate I do not know) who was playing with the fire extinguisher and accidentally released the safety pin or smth like that. The place where the incident happened is pretty close to the office room of the Prefect of HS(Highschool), so I kinda guessed that the student is in trouble, but I don't know what happened after that. The day continued normally and we finished our lunch period with no problems whatsoever. It was one of the most bizarre events in school that I remember.

I live in Germany. If you do your Abitur (graduate from gymnasium, the German equivalent of high school) usually the entire year that graduated does some kind of prank, often just making it hard to get inside and troll everyone for the day. So the story goes that a few years ago, students threw an overhead projector out of the window of the 3rd floor (or 2nd not sure) as a graduation 'prank'. This 'prank' was not planned by the whole year like graduation pranks usually are. It was just a few students who where involved. And because of these few students we aren't allowed to "go crazy" on graduation pranks anymore and do *harmless* stuff. Now, all that usually happens is that some ppl bbq on the roof of the bike shed and the lobby is darkened and becomes a rave are (just without the drugs sadly). Also there are rumors a student gave a teacher weed brownies.

FINALLY ONE I CAN SHARE A STORY OF Ok so this was like 6 years ago when I was in 6th grade. I already went through a terrible house fire I woke up to and save my family from. So basically It was fall that day(also on a Monday) and so of course the heat was on, but we did not know that the one in the library was broken and started smoking. So we got back to class from lunch and I thought that the unclear air and smell that I went through was illusions that my ptsd from the house fire gavee. So then everyone started asking each other if they saw a unclear air and smelled something then I knew something was off. Then the Pricapal came and asked us of they knew where it was coming from, we said no. I started getting scared for obvious reasons. Then all of a sudden the fire alarm goes off and put of instincts i grabbed my backpack. When we were leaving I heard them say "it is not a drill". I gpt more scared about the school burnong and freaked out from ptsd. After some people on my class helped me calm down that knew what I went through. We had to sit in the rain when theu saod we had to get on the busses and go to the high school. Sp we did. I went insane from the chaos. They announced it was just smoke from a broken heater and we would not be able tp get their stuff. People freaked put over their phones for no reason. Finally got out and was luckily able to become sane enough to not go crazy from the noise, chaos, and how lobg it took. TLDR: Freaked out due to ptsd from broken heater. Grabbed backpack went through almost going insane and got home sane.

God, there were a few: A student was killed street racing on a Friday. There were plans for a big memorial at school the next week. That memorial was cancelled because the following Tuesday was 9/11. It then came out that he was a terrible bully. A few months later, a couple of girls emailed a bomb-threat to the school, mocking it up to look like it was from an Arab/Muslim student. The school evacuated the classes, but for only for about 40-minutes as the threat came across as very inauthentic and they got a confession out of the girls when they were detained while trying to sneak off campus. Lastly, a popular girl's boyfriend was brought up on CP charges because she sent him naked pictures of herself (she was 17). The pictures were found when the police were executing a search warrant against the boyfriend's brother, who had murdered their neighbor during a B&E. The murder was super freaky because this was a quiet suburb in Southern Orange County, even petty crimes had been non-existent. The cops exaggerating a CP charge was just them overcompensating for the murder that happened in the area.

There was this kid that I sat next to in 7th grade and she would get picked on constantly because she was Autistic and a little odd. One day in science the main person who picked on her called her a "r-word created from fetal alcohol syndrom" and she snapped, she took her necklace she had on and attempted to strangle herself. The teacher managed to get her to stop but not until she had severely bruised her neck. She disappeared after that and I hope that she's still OK.

For me there was a middle school kid being bullied and harassed and the school did absolutely nothing about. It was actually pretty horrific since he was constantly getting harassed and I’m pretty sure it was emotionally damaging and even with the proof, the school was biased with the bullies and did nothing about it. He ended up committing suicide and when the school and the county found out they no try tried to keep it secret. As you can expect, that didn’t work at all and students and parents found out instantly and they also found out the county was trying to keep it a secret. The county got tons backlash and hatred from surrounding counties, their own students and parents of their students for years. Don’t know about them now though since the county was in Georgia and I now live in an urban area of Maryland.

Not me or in my school, but it happened to my dad. So this was back in like, 1985. Kids got paddled back then. My dad was attending middle school. There was this one substitute teacher, we’ll call him Mr. Dugg. My dad told me that he didn’t exactly not like him, he just resented him. So anyways, he was in math class. Mr. Dugg was teaching. My dad wasn’t a straight A student. All he did in class was draw. He just didn’t have the attention spam to learn a lot, though he did learn some things. While Mr. Dugg was supposedly a ‘straight A student that never did anything wrong’ and he disliked people who didn’t or couldn’t do their own work. He said so on numerous occasions to other students. Which gave him a reason to not like my dad. Mr. Dugg was only at my dad’s school for a couple days. Well after a few days, my dad began to wonder where his regular math teacher was. My dad looked up from his paper, stood up and asked Mr. Dugg where the regular math teacher was. Mr. Dugg told my dad that he wasn’t going to be teaching for a while, he didn’t give a reason. My dad was disappointed about this, I guess he liked the regular teacher. And so he sat down back in his seat and said, and I quote, “That’s bull.” He didn’t even say BS. All he said was ‘bull’. Mr. Dugg got mad about this and so he told my dad that at PE, in front of all of his classmates, he was to be paddled. Funny thing is, Mr. Dugg also said the word ‘bull’ and so did other kids in my dad’s class. And the other teachers at his school heard kids say ‘bull’ all the time and were pretty chill about it. The principal and Mr. Dugg gave my dad a chance to apologize but my dad didn’t because he didn’t do anything wrong. Sure enough, my dad was paddled in front of all the kids in his class. And no, he didn’t even fight back because the consequences would have been worse for him. My dad was completely ticked off about being embarrassed and about being paddled for something as stupid as that. So my dad told my grandfather about it. I never knew my dad’s dad but from what I’ve heard from my dad, he was as tough as steel. My grandfather was in the army and didn’t take crap from anyone and he also had gotten in a bunch of fights in his life. He was pretty well known because of those three reasons. So you could have guessed what would have happened after my dad told my granddad about what happened (I said would because it didn’t happen, just keep reading to find out why) So the next day after ‘The Paddling’, my dad returned to school. He raised his hand and right in the middle of class, he told Mr. Dugg, “My dad has something to say to you tomorrow.” Since my granddad was well known Mr. Dugg knew about him. So the next day, my dad and granddad pulled up to the school and my granddad got out of his car and stood beside it. He turns to my dad and tells him who this Mr. Dugg is and so my dad scans the area looking for him. And sUpRiSiNgLy, Mr. Dugg was no where to be seen. He didn’t turn up that day or the rest of the year. My dad got kinda popular after that happened. He was mostly popular amongst the kids who got low grades or who didn’t do their work. My dad never saw him again after that..

Back when I was in 6th grade there was this kid that was pretty much friends with everyone. He was popular, had decent looks, maybe a bit of a jerk but still a friendly lad nonetheless. It was a strange ocassion when he was absent, and that day he was absent, parents were calling eachother about this kid apparently dying. It was very abrupt, we didn’t know what he died off, we just know he had a very had headache that night and died on his way to the hospital. I don’t know why, but when my mum first told me I was pretty blank about it, I just shrugged, I guess it didn’t register in my brain. Next day all the 6th graders were put in a classroom with social workers and the whole shabam. That day the school looked dead, it was normally fairly loud just like any elementary/middle school would be, but that day it was extremely quiet. (The school was pretty small, so the news spread pretty fast.) This was around late February-early March, no one dared to set their butt in whatever seat he used throughout the rest of the semester. His funeral was the crowdest one I’ve ever been too. All six graders and their parents, the kid’s fammily, the teachers, heck, even our 5th grade science teacher who retired came too. In our eight grade graduation, white balloons were thrown as a way to mourn him, the girl that did the speach about this dedication started crying right there on stage despite this being something that happened time ago. This specific event made me horrifyed of the thought of dying young, dying without getting to achieve my dreams. I am currently in 10th grade, I still miss him in a sense, maybe we wouldn’t have been in the same highschool but, I wish he was still alive at least.

In my school happened various incidents, first incident we were running in gym class in circles and as we were running I suddenly spot something brown on the floor, not one but various, as I didn't pay it much attention I kept running till I did half the circle, and then I saw it, a guy of our class running with his ass exposed to the bathroom, turns out he had crapped himself during class, and instead of saying he had to go he began shitting while running, kid was a loner till things got forgotten. Second story happened a few years before pandemic, we were in chemistry doing an experiment with alcohol, well one girl somehow managed to get alcohol spilled on her hair without realizing, well she turned on the fire and shit went down really really fast, her hair catch on fire and the teacher began putting the fire off by drenching her with water, well after that I began making memes, and since clash royale was still a thing that everyone played, I made the fireball card with her face on it and the phrase you are on fire girl!.

12th grade year we had a kid who had graduated 2 years earlier but was still hanging around with students on grounds during lunch hours. as it turns out this guy killed his entire family and stuffed them into mattresses and was sleeping on it for over a month. he was showing up at lunch while this was going on and kids said that around this time said he literally smelt like death every time he was around. He also had journals of writing depicting different ways he was going to do a school shooting. Luckily the police caught him before he got around to doing it but the news of what had happened spread around the school like crazy and everyone was confused as to why it took police a fucking month to figure out he had killed his family. I had seen the dude like twice during that year and both times he acted outright unhinged and I can't believe teachers did not take notice that a guy who gradated 2 years ago and was acting erratic was out of place.

This happened to a ton of schools near mine. There are 3 schools right next to each other, a high school, middle school, and an elementary school. They are all right by the hospital and there is another middle school, a K-8 school, and my school nearby. So someone (FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY..) had called into the high school that there was a school shooter on the loose and they would try and mass murder the school. The district police, state troopers, university police, and city police all pile up at the high school (the other schools in full-on lockdown) with giant rifles, waiting to catch a shooter. Long story short, there was no shooter, it was a "prank call" from another country, a ton of policemen and women's time was wasted, and everyone was completely oblivious to the whole ordeal- nobody knew about it until the call. Imagine just coming back from the bathroom and you see a ton of police in your school. This wasn't at my school, but at a different one. I feel like calls that come in from different countries are a new type of terrorist attacks, because that event sure as hell cause terror on a ton of teenagers and teachers.

Woah that's dark, my little story is boring compared to that. Anyway, middle school, a fight broke out between two guys, the usual, students gathered around to watch the fight. Usually adults would take their time to deal with it since it happened often. But that day it didn't last long. There was a special class in my middle school, a class for immigrant children who usually couldn't speak much french. Did I tell you this was in France ? Anyway, one of those kids, Youssef, was huge, his hands were like a farmer's, large, meaty and rough. I later learned he came in France by himself fleeing the war in his country after his family was gunned down. He was the big kid, everyone respected him, but he was also sweet, if a little rough. He hated violence, so when he saw the fight, he came. He pushed the crowd with ease to get to the center. There he said in broken french "stop no fighting". The two kids stopped for a second, looked at him then launched at each other again. He stopped them, punched the first one in the face, broke his jaw, punched the other, broke his nose, and said again "no fighting". I laughed at the irony but couldn't deny the results. Then he left, the fight was over and students dispersed before any adult came. He never got in trouble for this but the two kids got suspension when they came back from the hospital.

*Here is my story:* It was in my primary school in Germany. We were just around 60 to 70 kids in just four classes and mine had just 8 kids *(including me).* I guess it happened during third or fourth grade. There was that one kid who was a good friend of mine an I visited him with another friend in the class. As the years went by his parents were getting divorced and they could'nt come to a conclusion to which parent he should live on from that point on. As they got divorced came the incident. The kid *(lets call him Jimmy)* went to the toilet or at least said he wanted to go there. The toilet was along the hallway. 4 to 5 minutes passed an he did'nt return to class. As the teacher went out to check the toilet he disappeared with his mother through an emergency exit door and across the schoolyard. We never saw him in class again. In the end he lived with his mother around 75 kilometers away and the father kept his little sister *(around 3 to 5 years old)*. Me and my other friend visited him twice during 4th grade but since the second visit I've never heard from him ever again.

A girl was shreksually assaulted by a sped kid. This was during the season where there was a musical going on in our highschool. After a rehearsal, one of the seniors was asking if anybody knew the kid's (let's call him Rick) part. Since the kid had, like 3 - 5 lines, I said I knew them. He then said that he would prevent the kid from performing if nothing was done. He told the teacher and the teacher told the principal. They said the school was doing something with him but the kids saw nothing being done and decided to do a protest. I personally didn't protest because most of the kids who participated were kids who just wanted to get out of school early. Made local news. Don't know what happened to Rick, but never saw him at school again. On the bright side, that is where I gained a love for acting.

One day, his class had built model rockets and they took them outside to fire them and measure how high they went (mind you, it was similar to bottle rockets, no fire or anything like that was involved). Our building is right next door to an elementary school with a big field in between, so they fired them there. They were using altimeters to measure the height and speed, but fun fact about the school's altimeters, they're vaguely gun-shaped (even though they're made of blue plastic). Apparently someone either at the elementary school or passing by on the road saw my friend's class, thought they were playing with guns, and called it in to both schools, sending ours into soft lockdown and the elementary school into hard lockdown. My friend's class eventually went back inside and they met a security guard, who told them what happened and that they were in lockdown and to get to their classroom. Apparently as they were sitting in their room, my friend and the teacher put two and two together at the same time and snapped their heads up at the same time in realization. Meanwhile from my perspective, I was working at my computer when things go into lockdown. As it was just a soft lockdown, we could keep working, just not leave the room. About 15 minutes later, I get a single text from my friend, that only said: "WE CAUSED THE LOCKDOWN" I was just like boi you better add some context right now, don't just leave me with that. It's been over 4 years since then but we still joke about it, usually quoting "Look out, he's got an altimeter!" at each other

Two things: Senior year: The kid who died while holding on to a shopping cart while his friend drove a car. The car was going about 25mph and hit a speed bump which launched the kid out of the cart and he died on impact. The band directors that came after the celebrated director who went on to teach university all got busted for having sex with the students. The band almost folded because of the reputation of this.

there were a couple of incidents at my school: 1) ex-head of science at my school got caught inappropriately messaging 13-15 year old girls who were at the school 2) student protest after the school announced plans to reduce the number of GCSE subject choices you could pick from 4 to just 2 (many schools in the UK offer 5) and making religious studies mandatory due to pressure from the Church of England (it’s a CofE school) 3) kid got suspended for bringing a BB gun into school and threatening people with it

There was a fatal car accident with kids from my school. It was a mom, a family friend, and 3 kids. The 3 kids and family friend all died, the mom was in a coma. I still don't know what's going on with the mom, she may still be in that coma. Like, one of the kids went to the same school as me, a grade above. I didn't know much but those who knew the girl were absolutely heart broken. One of the friends had a break down from what I heard..

this isn't a school incident at all, I just wanted to tell this because it's a scary/funny story at the same time. It happened today, November 11th, which is rememberance day. I think that's only in Canada, correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways, we were at that place where the whole community, including all the middle schools including mine went in a circle and standed for a long period of time to observe the war, and have the moment of silence for fallen soldiers and I think veterans. Keep in mind one of my best friends was right beside me. Somewhere near the end, my friend full on fainted and collapsed, and hit her head on this lesbian girls back, then falling to the ground. She woke up and said she felt completely fine but she had to go home and then our whole middle school left and walked back right after the incident. Everyone kept talking about it. FYI All of us are in the 7th grade.

A couple girls were driving to a high school party(I was in middle school at the time, but everyone know the girls). They took a curve in the road a little too fast, and flipped their car, ending up rolling down the hill on the side of the road, landing on the roof of the car in the river at the bottom of the hill. The man who lived at the farm next to the incident heard it and called 911, and went to investigate. Unfortunately, they were unable to get them out of the car before they passed.

I seemed to miss both big ones I can think about. The first happened at the highschool while I was still in like 7th or 8th grade. A kid doing the morning news ended by saying "god bless America". A bunch of Atheists got upset and got the school to reprimand him, which obviously got the entire town angry, I think it was even on the news. Anyways, after I graduated from highschool, apparently a bunch of football players got in trouble for getting in a fight then protesting for the ones who got suspended at a game (like kneeling and stuff). It got probably my favorite faculty member to resign and that definitely sucked.

I went to Burncoat Senior high myself. This was in my junior year, Halloween of 2003. A classmate was dared to throw a cup of peach cobbler at a random boy. Did the deed... Cue a food fight. I had to take cover since you have no idea what was in the food. I knew who started it but refused to snitch. Got in trouble for aiding and abetting. I was originally looking at a day in ISS, but got lunch detention instead. How I got it reduced? Cussing out one of the monitors, which happens to be the vice principal I was assigned to. The early 2000s was a strange time. Try doing that these days.

A incident that happened at my middle school was a viral bathroom fight. The bully was well known for physically beating people up and no school official bothered to do anything about him. Before Spring break, 2019, my friend's friend had enough and spat in his food. So after spring break, the bully and his only friend found the kid in the bathroom and beat him up (the kid suffered a broken jaw). The bully's friend recorded it and posted it. But that wasn't the biggest part of the story. The school then tried to cover it up. They first said teachers and staff stopped the fight, nope. In the video nothing like that happened plus a teacher was informed of the fight threats but brushed it off. Second cover up was the parents arrived immediately. I talked to kids who sat near the parking lot windows and they said no parents arrived. Next cover up was the school saying the bystanders could've stopped the fight, next cover up was when we were all talking about the fight and planning to protest, was the school threatening us with detention of a word was spoken. Next and last cover up was when we tried protesting but it was rigged and the school didn't let us have a walkout and instead had us walk circles in the main gym. The school actually tried getting the bullies back into the school (of course they had to do a "school investigation/hearing" for the kid) but for a month the school kept lying and saying they would only suspend the bullies. Thankfully, the bullies are now in juvie but the latest rumor is that the main bully served his sentenced and jumped a girl for talking crap about another girl (I saw the girl who got jumped and she had a bruise on her face).

A lot of people got caught vaping in the Girl's bathroom back at my old High School. Because of that whole mess, the school had to have metal detectors installed in case something like that happened again. Oh, and there were a handful of fights that broke out, too. Man, Florida High Schools are WILD.
