HHH is smart and remembers history. It wasnt uncommon for a storyline to become reality. Vince loved it - then he could exploit it further exposing real life drama and heartache for financial gain. Its was entertaining knowing the “real dirt” of these larger than life characters. (As a young kid idolized hardy boys) was actually traumatized by the Lita/Matt hardy and edge affair 😂 it was like I lost my GF too- knowing it actually happened made wrestling more realistic/ interesting to me- storylines become fun to dissect when something drastic happened. now with google and twitter-podcasts and 20 years later it’s easier and comes full circle to find out what the drama was. I also remember Chris Benoit stole his ex bosses wife due to a storyline. That turned out to be a rough and horrific one😢
