I just did some digging and found that of the 12 testimonies by witnesses, only one stated that they actually heard the police announce, their presence. They soon retracted that statement. It's a tough one if I'm being honest. She wasn't killed just because she was black, that is for certain. So she has nothing to do with BLM. A shot was fired at the officer's so they had the right to shoot. But Taylor's boyfriend had the right to shoot who he thought was just an intruder. Police should use non-lethal force in an entry situation. Surely a megaphone could have been used to better alert the resident's. Her death was preventable, but it was the system's fault. Individual police officer's and racism are not logical or fair factor's to blame for the death of Breonna Taylor.

@@WillIAm90-x7s when cops go in with a no-knock warrant they don't have their police car lights on they just burst into your home with their flashlights you don't see no lights outside flashing or nothing they normally go in quiet so for him to say they said open your door we have a search warrant that's a lie they normally don't announce that they are the cops they just burst through your doors when it's a no-knock warrant

I’m sad she died, I wish she would not have been involved with the drug dealing. If you play with fire your going to be burned. It’s just sad people don’t want accept responsibility for their choices. Everyone knows if your using, dealing, selling drugs or hang with people that do your asking for trouble. It doesn't matter if she was the lowest scum on the planet she's still entitled to due process of the law. Y'all are always going on and on about how great the US is. But it's only as great as in that every citizen is protected by our Constitution and our laws. It is not a policeman's job to determine someone's guilt or innocence. If we start at the very beginning of the Taylor case it started with HER and drugs. Had she not been involved with illegal activities this would have never happened. Then shooting at the police is basically a death wish. I feel sorry for her friends and family I truly do, but the law doesn’t deal in feelings it deals with the law, facts.

Yes, we all have the right to due process, but again when you shoot at the police, it really limits your options after that. Bottom line is if you play with fire ;drugs) don’t be shocked if you get burned. Her actions brought the police to her home, they didn’t just pick a random house out of a random neighborhood. Again, I feel badly for her family, I can’t imagine the pain of losing a child.

Post Office was never asked about packages to her house. They expected her to be alone. They searched her home and found no drugs, money or guns. She rented a car, ex asked to borrow it and then lent it to someone who was killed. The person responsible is in jail. Her ex was the one with a criminal record, not her current one. Reading comprehension is fundamental.
