“Now that little boy is an orphan”…..that hit me hard emotionally. I lost a parent at a young age so I sort of understand what hes going to go through and its not fun. Sad thing is he lost his through murder…losing it from someone committing a senseless murder to someone they had no relations to. This is just devastating more and more as all the stories now unfold. The community needs to come together and help that boy out immediately. If anyone knows how to setup an account so we can get him some money at least it will def. help suppress the chaos. I don’t own a gun, but I am pro-gun. I know a few people who have guns illegally, so taking away the second amendment will only cause more victims of home invasions, shootings, etc, with no means to protect yourself and those you love. But man, something needs to be done. Some kind of mental health check, just like they do background checks. Maybe have a piece of paper given by a doctor who specializes in mental health, who signs off on a persons mental health being okay to buy and own a gun. It’s really that easy. The gov just wants to wait for a few more mass shooting so that more and more people will get tired of it and try to completely abolish the 2nd amendment.

Also, no one should be able to purchase a weapon at any gun or knife show without a thorough check of his/her background and a waiting period of at least three weeks. When will lawmakers and the general public get over the fact that guns, knives, slingshots, chains, poisons and ropes can all be used as weapons to kill but it is the perpetrators and potential perpetrators that we need to deal with. And any potential charge of invasion of privacy is just a lawyer's ploy to get a client off of possibly dangerous charges. Start using your brains people. Demand that your lawmakers address the real problem. Allot whatever amount of money is necessary to organize and staff an effective national database that is available 24/7/365 to all police organizations and weapons store owners and licensed weapon sellers. Staff it with 100 staff members and computers if that is what it takes to make it efficient.
