I think Jenny Phillips said once that Little Men was her favorite book ever (and she was an English major)! You've given me the push to add it to our Read-Alouds this year. :)

That’s a rough read aloud season! We haven’t read any of those except Little Women and I felt the same about it before I finally read it and then felt the same after. Hopefully the next group of read alouds is kinder to your family.

Thanks for taking time to do the book reviews. I have been wanting to read Little Men for a while now and will most likely buy the TGTB version of it. It's good to hear that you considered it a 5-star book! I have read Little Women and watched the 1994 movie and the version from 2019. I've always liked Little Women the book and films.
