Any of you quit a job after your boss tried to put you into a position where you couldn’t succeed? If so, shut the hell up cause that’s the same damn thing. Life is about 2nd chances. The kid is 20. Gotta love all the people who were mature people who didn’t make any mistakes ever lmao😂
@KH-qs1di9 күн бұрын
Yep. I was put in a situation by my supervisor where I wasn't suppose to succeed, but I succeeded anyway because I wanted to. See, that's difference between being average and being great. The only individual that can stop themself from achieving is themself. 20 years old is not a kid. He's a grown man. If you have children, I hope you don't pacify them. That's what's wrong with these young men today. Don't want to compete and go through the fire. As soon as things get tough, they quit. Based on your response, I know which side you stand on.
@CMATT8508 күн бұрын
So if the end goal is the NFL and your head coach was insanely successful at that level and wants to run an NFL offense then please explain to me how Bill Obrien put him in a spot to not succeed? Sounds like he wasn't succeeding to the level of expectations and quit when he got benched. It's a character flaw any way you slice it but yall keep giving these kids a pass. Before the portal you either had to grind and grow or burn your 1 transfer up and hope for the best.

If the team is not physical then that falls at the feet of the head coach.
@richardbrookins54069 күн бұрын
Maybe, maybe not. If the team does not have the ability to be physical due to injuries or illness it is not the coach's fault. Now, if the players just plain suck because they do not have the physical skills necessary then yes, it is the coach's fault for signing the wrong caliber of player.
@rlhaff35608 күн бұрын
I hope he can handle our O line situation… unless we somehow miraculously come up with a good line next year, hard to imagine that considering the players on the roster at the moment, he will be running for his life, which Travis navigated obviously… but we will find out about his leadership and attitude.

Most people who choose to criticize TC just don’t want him at FSU. Questioning his character for leaving BC when we don’t know the situation is a bit ridiculous. O’Brien only succeeded with Brady & that had very little to do with him. Brady didn’t even get along with him half the time & O’Brien even self sabotaged the Texans when they had a legit Dual-Threat Deshaun Watson before his skills fell off a cliff. So I’m not going to believe that TC is some uncoachable diva. Sounds like O’Brien wasn’t high on TC in the first place, and he knew that. It’s one thing to assist in improving his accuracy, but to take away a pet of his game that makes him even more dangerous isn’t smart

If this reason for leaving is true it makes more sense to me, however he should have stayed until the end of the year. Last year, he was under a different offense that conform to him, and this year it didn’t. I chalk it up to the same reason Luke left because the change in offense. Just embrace it. Castilonos shoulders improvement this year and will do the same with a new better team that has his style offense.

Just think there are a ton of options out there, and we settled immediately on TC. Don’t get me wrong, he may fit this scheme but so would Kaiden Salter, and he’s by far the better passer. What WR in the portal is rushing to come play with TC?! Idk guess we’ll find out
@DNiceMusic898 күн бұрын
Who did Salter play against though? Has he shown anything on the bigger level?
@LittleHammer_8 күн бұрын
@ does it matter? I mean they put Malik Willis in the NFL. He’s clearly proven he can produce at a very high level at Liberty. And I prefer him moreso for his passing ability in addition to him being older and capable of leading a locker room.

@hawkeye7907 күн бұрын
TC was benched for exactly what O'Brien said - James gave them a much better option to win. TC single-handedly lost more than one game for BC. He is the worst passer I have ever seen and makes mistakes that loses games. And he is not exactly a leader of men. Maybe he does ok with a run first offense for quarterback. If you want him to throw the ball though you are in trouble.

Castellanos doesn’t have the arm strength to consistently push the ball down field. I wish BC was playing FSU next year. Castellanos is garbage. BC tried to run plays that rolled him out of the pocket, we just couldn’t get the ball out accurately. Defenses started putting a spy on him and it worked.

Why people not criticizing all these other players that transfer out?
Castellano is 5’9”. He’s not remotely close to a pro form in the pocket QB. He is only there to run. Norvell clearly is not looking to pass much. Just look at the coaches he hired. Running offense. Gone are the days of Bowden/Jimbo, past first, run later

I think Mike shot himself in the foot when he hired Gus and in turn Castellanos. I think Castellanos is DJU 2.0- just a flop. And I hate to say it but I think this will be the final nail in Mikes FSU coffin. I hope I'm wrong but I can't help but think this is it.

Man, shows your intelligence. I bet you quote this every day on a ton of fsu posts. It’s been a year, we get it, we got blown out in a meaningless bowl game because most of our players opted out. This isn’t the jab you think it is anymore, we don’t care. We went 2-10 this year and people are still talking about a blowout from last season. You have plenty of ammo from this season. Find something else to joke about Florida state with.
