Yeah I’m really torn, the black wheels with white lettering look really good when they are clean but the white is a bit different. Maybe if my tyres were all black I’d go with white.

Thanks for your videos! My 1997 (v8 to 300tdi, auto to manual )is just back on the road… still some finishing, but running and driving!! I’m looking forward to starting adding some of the fun stuff soon.

Do you have any lift on your Disco? I'm looking to get some 31x10.5 installed on my completely stock Disco 1, i'm not doing hard stuff but i'm afraid of rubbing without camel cut and lift.

@@davidmorgan7540 hi David, I’ve just measured them and the rims are 9 inches wide from inside rim to outside. They are classed as an 8j hope this helps

Thank you, I think they are 8x16 but I’m not 100% sure I know they give an offset of about -35mm

Rocking the same Tires on my white '96 Disco 2" lift, stock wheels white out :P Thinking of adding 10mil spacers/shims to stance a little more.

Great video, answered lots of questions, You didn't mention your arches, did you cut them, and did you need to to fit the tyres? ...and paint than wheel black man!

Hi! Nice rig, i have a 98 300tdi, currently on BfGiodrich All Terrain 235/70/16 (i'm going for a set of Khumo At51 245/70/16), but i want to know ¿Are you on stock gearing? A friend wants to put 265/75/16 on his 300tdi and we don't know if it's too much with the stock gear relation. Greetings from Argentina!

Hi, thank you! Yes still stock gearing on my disco. I have 265/75/16 and no issues with the gearing, you do have to use your gears a bit more with the taller tyres. I had 245/70/16 when I first bought the car I think standard was 235/70/16

Yes there was a slight trim on the arches around 1-2inches removed then covered with the flares

Looks awesome! So are you still running the 30mil spacers? And where did you get your wheels? I'm having a bitch of a time trying to find 16x8 negative offset steel wheels that will fit the Disco 2 here in the states...
