There is no way Lorroakan's Wisdom is 15. This is 6

Lorroakan was by far the most delusional character in the game. Like the guy was so absort in his own selfish fantasy that he truly believes that a demi-devine warrior (who HE MUST HAVE STUDIED ABOUT), the very same pack of "mercenaries" who actually were able to deliver such aasimar to him AND his rogue apprentice were nothing but "dificulties". Lorroakan was the guy who deserved to be turned into Raphael's magical dildo back in the hells.
@gamester5129 ай бұрын
More like a Wisdom of 1. Seriously, he thinks it's a _good idea_ to antagonize and target *_AYLIN_* of all people in a vain effort to become a God? Even _if_ Lorroakan were to succeed, it's highly unlikely that _Ao_ or the other Gods would tolerate a narcissistic upstart like Lorroakan daring to presume himself worthy of Godhood, particularly in the case of Selune, since Aylin is her *_DAUGHTER_* of all things! Lorroakan would have been far wiser to heed Gale's words more closely, as while Gale has his own ego and problems with said ego, at least he's wise enough to know better than to tangle with someone like Aylin, and as long as you guide Gale towards his "good" ending where he rejects Godhood, he will at least learn from his own mistakes. Lorroakan very clearly lacks the same capacity to accept that he could possibly be wrong. If not for the fact that Aylin re-enact's "Knightfall" with Lorroakan's body as the "prop", I kinda wish Lorroakan had gotten it into his head to try provoking someone like Szass Tam or Elminster instead. Would have likely resulted in him getting a far more long-term and decidedly unpleasant punishment as a result. Lorroakan doesn't realize he's royally screwed up until Aylin is right in his face and about to break him in two, and by then it's far too late!.

I love this guy as a villain. Think about what he's actually asking of the adventurers stupid enough to take his request to find the Nightsong, like Aradin. This twit of a wizard seriously thought he could just sit in his tower fiddling with his silly little spells while some deadbeat adventurer and their posse would trek off to the woods in the middle of bumfuck nowhere, facing down hordes of goblins, whatever looms around the Underdark and brave the cursed shadowlands to make it all the way to the incredibly hard to reach Gauntlet of Shar where even more deadly enemies and mindtwisting puzzles await them. And even if they somehow get through all that, they need to traverse through the Shadowfell, only to find out that the Nightsong isn't a treasure in the sense they thought it was, but an incredibly pissed off Aasimar who hates their guts and makes vows of vengeance against them unless you can deliver punishment to some General in control of a whole fkin army down there. If you do all that and then convince said Aasimar to come to this tower to meet this guy, he then seriously expects you to just drop her off in his lap, take the 5k gold and walk away like he did you a favor. Not only that, but this numbnuts has her prison drawn in the middle of his tower in the middle of a big city. At least Ketheric had the common sense to stick her down a deep dark hole, protected by one of the most deadly curses in the lands and a temple with gauntlets, tricks and deadly enemies. This guy just drew it in his study room, like that's the same thing. Because there's no possible way that could ever go wrong. It went wrong for Ketheric and he had like 3 MASSIVE safeguards in place to protect her. How fkin delusional is this guy? He really thinks he can just sit there, playing with this elementals and animated armors in the warm, comfortable safety of his tower and some random adventurer is going to do all that, take his coin and just deliver immortality in his lap and they'd be okay with that? I mean, there's delusion and there's DELUSION! This guy's picture should be next to the word in their dictionary, lol. I know I'm ranting, but that's just because I love this game and its story and twists so much. This guy is so fkin arrogant that watching Aylin go full Knightfall on him (which isn't shown here, but is one of the possible outcomes of her fight with him) was one of the most satisfying moments in the entire game, and that's saying something because this game is full of gem moments like that. Anyway, rant over. I've spit out all my rambling thoughts, now lol

My thoughts exactly!! Thank you for typing this, I feel so validated - a picture of this dude is the dictionary entry for arrogance. I didn’t even find out how much he was offering, and I didn’t even tell Aylin, I’m usually interested in getting as much dialogue as possible (cause great game) but this guy’s banal entitlement to enslave made it on-sight.

What I personally loves the most of this part of the story is how Rolan has the balls to stand up against Lorroakan, demostrating a moral goodness I didn't expect in a wizard so eager to be one. And Aylin is by far my fav character in this game. Like literally what pissed me the most is that she can't be made into a full companion, she will be the best

The only possible way that he _might_ have stood a chance is if he were a Lich rather than a mere Human, and even then it would likely have been a very minor inconvenience for Aylin to find and destroy his Phylactery to ensure that he stayed dead. It would likely take someone on par with Szass Tam or Elminster to actually overpower and restrain Aylin in the way Lorroakan intended (without the help of characters with "main character" levels of plot armor, at least), and even then it's unlikely either of them would even want to bother (Szass Tam would probably just want to turn Aylin into an undead minion instead, and Elinster would just prefer to leave her alone at worst).

@@RedXerosI was oath of vengeance and didn't break it. If you attack someone out of combat it's very easy to break the oath, but if mid conversation it gives you the option to start combat then you can fight a lot of enemies (including Lorroakan) and not break the vengeance oath

Same. It might have been the only NPC I did in without combat engaged first. We had our convo, I said, sure buddy, I'll get the Nightsong for you. And then I was like, you know, Aylin doesn't really need the trauma. I'll just let her heal. Sneak attack with Sussar dagger to silence him and its on.

The most evil villains are not those who believe themselves as such, but those who are misguided by delusional ideals. The most infamous german leader though himself as the saviour of his people, and somelike that one, Lorroakan though his as the brightest of minds so faraway from 'normalkind' that he became blind and bring his own demise on himself.
