And now some people are paying themselves claiming to "clear Kenya's big debt", so they have no incentive to expose the past error. So, Bwana Wanjigi what's the best course of action to get us out of this debacle? Should we embark on austerity measures on salaries, government expenditure, etc.? Maximizing revenue and minimizing overhead operational costs? How about investing a quarter of revenue collected into stocks, securities, mutual funds, etc.? Use proceeds of this venture to pay off the national debt piecemeal. No more borrowing - let's live within our means.
