I might have an answer for the question at the timestamp 6:52 During the Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event, when Yuji fought Todo, Todo explained to Yuji that cursed energy also comes from the gut. When Gojo was bisected, his stomach was cut in two. The reason why Yuta survived the world slash even though he was practically cut the same way (in the gut) is because Rika is another source of cursed energy. In Chap 261. he says that the only reason why he's still holding on is because of Rika.

Hey! I'm curious about your take on Binding Vows in general? Do you like them? Not like them and why? Would you change how they work? To me they often seem like "convenient narrative tools" used when Gege needs something to happen and they just can be pulled off out of nowhere with "seemingly" no real drawback. I find them really hard to follow and understand sometimes, because they often just break what we know of someone's technique, making it really hard to follow or predict what will even happen. I'm not necessarily saying it's bad writing, but it is both getting a bit too much for me and I just stopped really caring of who can do what, when they can just think up a binding vow, that will change their powers on an whim. I more often than not just ask myself "Why not Yuji makes a binding vow like Sukuna does to achieve crazy feats"? Idk man... curious of your thoughts!

you are totally right because 1- we know that Yuta made a death vow to defeat Geto, he didn't die though because Rika allowed him to break his part of the vow because she wanted him to live so it isn't a question about the lack of ability to make the such vows. 2-Also Mei Mei said that a death vow is the strongest vow and we can already speculate that the Vow is probably connected to the potential of the user the bigger the potential the bigger the advantage you can get out of the vow, that is further proven by how Miwa Vow flopped, Gege also a fan of HXH and the vows are mainly inspired by the anime and it works the same way there. 3- if Yuta is ready to throw his life to win why doesn't he or Yuji attempted a death vow especially with Sukuna brain damaged and obtaining the same CE as Yuta and with one hand!, surely a death vow would put them above his current power levels that would be more true if Yuta lost to Sukuna again without making a vow of that kind. 4- we actually never see many characters abuse the Vows for survival and turning the tables like Sukuna. finally i expect someone to use a death vow by the end of the series or it is absolutely just makes no sense

I think the 5 minute time limit is a binding vow that grants Rika immortality. In my eyes it would be a "fair" trade: his cursed technique is literally listed as Rika, so if he loses Rika, he has nothing. So, with that binding vow, he can't lose his technique BUT he is at a major disadvantage during battle, because he can only use his technique at full capacity for 5 min.

i think that could be possible through some other way, Kenny said his "Will" will be inherited if he meant that literally then it could be a case like black Zetsu in Naruto where he was the "Will" of some fictional ancient entity that was called Kaguya. Gege could explore similar way, maybe Kenny pulled an Uno card and he knew that Yuta would use his CT (just by logical thinking or he had a spy inside) and he already knows the 5 minutes Vow from Geto memory so he made a near death vow to modify the CT to take over after the 5 minutes XD.

I think the three possibilities of taking over Gojos body were meant to be questioning about directly how it would affect Okkotsu, not specifically on the technique (even though its about the technique). Since you thought asking 1 didnt make sense since it has already been said several times that only 1 technique can be used at once, thinking about it as yuta "having" the technique vs using the technique. In the way more of if 1. The moment Yuta loses the technique (after the five minutes) he either loses control of the body or dies, 2. he can stay in the body / maintain it for longer than 5 minutes, or 3. He can stay in Gojo's body until something makes him leave. It makes more sense in having a 1. 2. 3. than asking the questions directly since they would affect how long he could be in Gojo's body, from 1. the least to 3. forever (?) it also makes sense to be about Okkotsu specifically since its in the context of Okkotsu using it not Kenjaku.

What if there's a 4th option? What if after those 5 minutes Yuta's brain swap technique actually fades away and thus, Yuta would cease to exist, BUt, Gojo would come back? I mean, after seeing all the Gege's work so far, killing another soul would be the most possible outcome. Yuta's reverse cursed technique might come into the play or just the thing that the Gojo's body came back to life and there might be similar situation to Sukuna and Fushiguro, where bouth souls are in one body and after one is killed, the other takes over. Their ancestory and family connection might come into play here, showing that they are connected in some way and shering some thing, you know, manga stuff. Whatever happens one is certain - someone's dying.

Theory: There's a like a foreshadow of what might happen back in Shibuya where Geto's body (hand) acted on it's own to help gojo. I'm assuming 3 things here: 1)Yuta dies, period. Reunites with the real Rika in heaven. Another Gege attempt to raise the stakes and make it hopeless for the MC's to win then gege pulls something that breaks the internet again. 2)Gojo comes back after Yuta's timer runs out and goes back to his body in a form of a binding bow. Since all they've been hinting about binding bows right now is that there's an exchange, but there's always a timer or limit. 3) Gojo comes back for 1 chapter and power struggles with Kenjaku since Kenjaku was somewhat OP and the CT was originally his, so eventually, Kenjaku takes over Gojo's body and this continues their original binding vow that the culling games will only end with Megumi(body/Sukuna) & Geto(body/Kenjaku) the ones left alive. Then something amazing happens AND (There' s a break next week guys so we'll have to wait. Usual cliff hanger stuff) Megumi's body is still alive, somewhat. Only 1 of them needs to be alive I guess since Kenjaku (Geto's body) is dead, for the culling game to stay active and end.

I think kenjakus technique is intermittent because biologically it would make sense as the brain is a different organ comparing to the body so cells and blood wouldn’t match the brain leading the blood to be insufficient for it and the cells to attack it so CE could act as a body depressant to prevent the body from killing the brain

I think the scar is a binding vow as in that as long as technique is active whoever is using the technique is Kenjaku. And as we know, after a domain is opened, the user doesnt have access to their cursed technique for a while, if it was the constant activation type, then kenjaku would have died after suffering CT burnout. Gojo was also hit when Mahoraga used the world cutting slash, despite being on guard. It's not really a matter of readiness here. The way the world cutter was described to work, it doesn't travel, the moment the cut happens it's targets are already within it's grasp. In other words - the only real way to dodge is to move aside while Sukuna does the requirements for the attack, which would be impossible in this case, where the requirements are skipped.

It does travel there is time between when he cast it to when it lands. We can see this during the fight with kashimo. The real reason is......gojo cant see sukuna's slashes it seems. Maki cam see the air around them being displaced so she can tell its trajectory and if its a vertical or horizontal slash. Gojo dosent have heightened senses like maki

I think the reason it isn't de-activating when using another technique is because it's more passive and works like CE, where your only concern is, you know, not running out of CE if it constantly took CE, Kenjaku would be swimming in it, but what about when he took over Yuji's mother? Wasn't she just normal? It suggests that it's a one time activation, only activated once and then runs, like a Flashlight. That brings the question, does the CT existence work as the battery? Who knows.

I think why Gojo couldn't RCT from the world slash is because his body was in shock , since there was no telegraph he couldn't brace for it the way Yuta and Rikka did so Gojo full on got his top blown off with leaving his nervous system unresponsive promptly in that state of shock. The same thing happened to Sukuna when Gojo's blue infused black flash slammed Sukuna's back into his remote reversal red, the gut shot completely KOed even Sukuna. Getting bisected shouldn't be any different I imagine.

My crazy "4th option theory" is that some weird shit will happen with the whole Todo's boogie-woogie + Yuta's time limit. What if, for example, Todo forces Sukuna into Gojo's body at last second before the 5 minutes expire? - Yuta still dies, returns to his body, or stays in Megumi's body as last resource till he finds a way to go back later. - Sukuna either dies after changing to a "bad vessel" for him (maybe even Gojo's soul could appear back and "would win" there?) - OR he gets weakened a lot considering that Megumi was basically a free vessel and that he was in his heian form etc.

The scar being permanently shown is a binding vow kenjaku made, but the scar appearing in the first place isnt, it appears due to the opening of the head for the brain swap. This obviously means that since yuta just swapped there is no confirmation he also made the same binding vow, just that he swapped brains.

Would like to highlight that Kenjaku didn't specifically state that all his bindings were void after a body swap. To be specific, the panel you are referring to states that he made binding vows with many,not only sorcerers. I think he was implying other humans but, more importantly here, cursed spirits. This is because he goes on to say that their binding vows are now void "in THIS body" (IE Geto). So, to conclude, Geto has CSM which allows him to void cursed spirits' bindings as he can control them anyway. I could be wrong but, just wanted to state that he didn't specifically say what u said. I used to believe that point too until I reread it and then came to this conclusion :)

I don't think that Yuta is going to die immediately. I think that a lot of people are discounting the highly likely possibility that the end of Gojo's character development will likely be done through Yuta, whether it be through his memories being relayed by him or somehow momentarily regaining control of his body. Either that or a final airport scene...

We know he won't die after 5 min because kenjaku could use anti gravity and a domain expansion the gojo vs Sukuna fight showed that you can't use your CE after do to burn out so Kenny would just follow over dead, he also the person who most likely taught the disaster curses domain amplification and he just fall over dead after using it if he had to have his CT up at all times. yuta should have cursed manipulation and anti gravity because even though kenjaku's brain was in geto's head, its implied rika ate the head along with the brain. in theory, he should have access to rika whenever and can bypass storing only 2 cursed techniques with his copy technique

I think the gojo healing thing is a great question that kinda confuses me too like now we have 2 characters that have survived for a while after being bisected for a while. Why didn’t gojo with the black flash amp use blue to like put his torso back on and heal? I personally believe gojo WANTED TO be unalived to have the burden of being a monster/the strongest taken off of him. Not saying gojo isn’t weaker than sukuna just saying why else would he smile? In the afterlife and before he ultimately stoped living?

I think the benchmark of being able to hit a blackflash is actually being able to infuse your attacks with cursed energy. Because if I remember correctly a black flash happens when you infuse an attack with specific timing of the attack. I would say preawakened maki couldnt because none of her punches ever had cursed energy in them. If they did then she wouldnt need the cursed weapons.

No. CTs are stored by Rika hence why he doesn't use even one of them outside full manifestation. The body hop CT just made it possible for him to body hop. Hence why Yuta doesn't know what will happen. It wouldn't be an issue otherwise.

Unless Yuta made a binding vow that limits his own ct usage and storage to rika to gain 5 mins of higher ce control He should be able to eat parts of other people to store it inside of his own brain and use even without rika. Yuki said the brain stores up to 4 CTs rika has went through the process of copying CTs Yuta has not Rika is not yuta CT he’s only made her and extension it No one else conditions for their technique are limited to something not apart of their CT

Then plan to copy body hop after dismantling Kenny as a last resort if shrine fails of which I doubt since it's clearly very strong. Especially Kamino. (And yes. Shrine will work on Sukuna since it's not his cursed energy) If Sukuna still survives MS with Hollow wicker basket while soloing Yuta and Yuji duo with his RCT diminished, and still bisects Yuta, he could immediately be transferred to swap to Gojo. He would keep shrine, body hop, copy and Limitless. He'd win.
