Thats because JJK power systems is very limiting for the characters inside the verse. Its not like naruto or HxH where characters can train to learn new offensive abilities, in JJK you got what youre born with and the only things you can learn is RCT, domain expansion, simple domain and that pretty much it, aside from binding vows and black flashes. So Gojo’s dream of raising students that are as strong as him is impossible since he would need to find students that were born with curse techniques as powerful as the six eyes and limitless, which simply cant happen as those are the best abilities in the series when combined outside of maharaga and cleave and dismantle.

I think those who attempt to become monsters are doomed to fall at the feet of Sukuna because it is impossible to outdo the ultimate monster. Sukuna is at the bottom of the ocean of monstrosity and has dwelled in its dark caverns and crevices for his entire life. Such monstrosity can not be matched in mere moments compared to hundreds of years. That's why I think it will take someone with a completely human connection to destroy Sukuna. My guess is that Yuji's humanity will touch Megumi in a way that will allow for Megumi to perform his favorite act of self-sacrifice and help Yuji destroy Sukuna. Megumi will finally have a successful and final self-sacrifice, and Yuji will have helped his friend have a good death.

If this is what the black box was all about just the fire arrow then , Gojo CT is seriously so much better. I mean, in my opinion you just explained perfectly why that Geto panel where he talks about getting left behind is like... the worst thing in the Manga so far. The entire thing with Gojo is that he rejects the philosophy of the Jujutsu world. He looked outward and forward, rather than inward and backward. He chose to be selfless and compassionate, rather than exercise an undeniable ability to be selfish and malevolent. He seemed that way, relatively, until the end, with Yuji and the other's patting him on the back as he walked off to (hopefully) save his students and surrogate younger brother. One panel completely betrays his character. Its one thing to fail nobly, but another to betray everything you've been established to stand for, and there isn't even a payoff to it. So now we're left with the most beloved, most thematically complete and established character dead and desecrated with no real payoff, as far as we can see so far, to the story-line and the thematic threads pulling it together. I don't think that killing Gojo was necessarily a "bad" thing, but pretty much every part of how Gege has gone about it has been disappointing to me so far. Like, offscreening him (to what I still maintain feels like a bullshit binding vow, he didn't really give up anything, just said let me use this technique I've never used before with no condition once, and I'll put conditions on it in the future. It still doesn't make sense to me. If there were no conditions on it to begin with then what was the point of the vow, if there were conditions then did he even give anything up, Idk but I digress) is just unrewarding after such an intense fight, the airport shit where it feels like there's some hint that he could come back but ultimately it seems like he's kinda fine with the prospect of the world going to shit because he had fun seems... potentially narratively sloppy, unless he just had that much faith in his students which seems unfounded given what's happened since then... and his own admission on the fight while he sat there, and now his students are still dependent on using him as a weapon postmortem, and all of the worries of a Gojo comeback stealing the spotlight from Yuji are now true about Yuta as a Gojo proxy, at the exact point Yuji started actually feeling like a main character... I dunno... Obviously Gege is still writing the story so we'll see what happens but I really want some payoff on things at some point, and with the way things have been set up it feels like he's effectively undermined some of the most engaging thematic concepts in the story.

Man I glad you brought up the Kenjaku statement and Gojo's reaction to it because I've been slammed on qoura and reddit for saying the exact same thing. Gojo deep down knew none of his students could reach his level and that's why for the first time he was shut up by Kenjaku. I'm also not one of the people who believe Gojo was weaker than Sukuna. Sukuna never overpowered him only outplayed him because he was more selfish. Gojo would've killed him if he simply let go off Megumi.

The definition if being immoral is a very relative and a perspective thing. Yuta killing Sukuna can also be considered immoral or Sukuna using Megumi's body to use Mahoraga to kill Gojo is also immoral. When it comes to surviving nobody gives shit about how they do it, if they get it done
