Hi Chris ….welcome home. So nice to see your beautiful cards again. I watched with wonder to see how the new wax would do…..and it looks amazing. Just to let you know I’ve been waiting in anticipation for your creations to come up on KZbin but now I have to go on your subscription to find that your recent makes were there. For some unknown reason many of my subscribers have been unknowingly unsubscribed from my channel. Sometimes over and over, if you could keep checking to see that you are subscribed and give a thumbs up for each video and a comment now and then hopefully your subscription should remain. It’s a real nuisance ! I have no idea how it happens, I just see subscriber number decrease from time to time, which is really sad !

Those leaves turned out so beautifully! I don’t have Luscious Powders or French furniture polish, but I do have some Perfect Pearls and I bought some Mink Oil natural colored shoe polish so I’m going to try something similar. At first I thought the background paper you chose would be too bright to tone down with the gilding wax but now I think it was the perfect choice. Working my way backwards through all of your videos and enjoying them immensely 💕

You've reminded me that I bought IndogoBlu's gilding gum and have NOT used it. Tsk, tsk, tsk. I can't believe it. I was so excited to get it. So glad to see you again although I definitely am going to resist temptation on this one. Goodness knows I do not have enough room to start making gilding wax from from all my Magicals pigment powders! I do, however, adore how the leaves and sentiment came out. Beautiful. So nice to have you back. It's such a great start to me day.

Christine, a tin of shoe polish(natural) mix half a teaspoon of polish with coloured pigment paste of your choice, light tan polish if you’re using gold coloured pigment paste…makes a lovely job..found this at one time on KZbin …(Elise in the attic)

This is very pretty Chrissie, and love the burlap strip and the added leaves, and the three dies you etched into the background look great. How kind of the French lady to send you the wax which you can add your Luscious Powders into a they give a wonderful effect. I did look at quite a few of your videos but stupidly I did not 'like' or comment. I didn't see anyone else new had so I stupidly thought I only needed to watch them to help. I will go back and at least 'like' the ones I remember watching and hope that helps. x

Hi Christine, i had been meaning to tell you that you could make your own gilding wax. I made some with different colors of mica powders and body cream and they turned out very well. I watched a tutorial on KZbin and they used colorless shoe wax instead, the consistency is more like the store bought gilding wax.

Quite a lot of companies make dies which emboss rather than cut. Poppy Stamps and Memory Box do a few. Some European companies do too! The background leaves are by Simply Graphic, Charlie and Paulchen do some too.
