Great interview! If you can respond I would love to know if you believe black men should hold their peers accountable for the content in there group chats? As a married woman of 15 years I noticed that my husbands peers send raunchy(soft porn) content in their group texts. My husband doesn’t share that type of content with them but he’s silent when they do. His answer is that he can only manage his actions. I honestly need an outside perspective because as a wife it feels disrespectful. Especially since his peers are married as well with daughters. keep in mind that these men are educated, professional high income earners.I think there is a way to hold each other accountable without making them feel judged. I don’t think any of them would like it if us wives were sharing shirtless pics of Michael B. Jordan. Thank you!❤

When Tysean said that crying feels like something is being pulled out of him, that's exactly what is happening. The dense energy of emotional pain is leaving your body. Unfortunately, as it's leaving your body, it feels horrible. That's why people avoid crying or feeling sad. The purpose of crying is to release that dense energy.

There were no men in the home so that ended up being my role: Keeping it all together. I was looked to for masculine energy in the home I grew out of. Men please listen…we all need community and a healthy one. I will add let’s be mindful you can’t choose your family, but you can choose friends and how you improve how you interact with what might be a toxic family. Sometimes healing yourself is contagious. Don’t throw away a good woman because of her family, is she a growing woman? Is she managing the relationship with them in a healthy many? Does she establish healthy boundaries? Is she receptive? Etc? Don’t let one bad past experience allow you to judge your current experience. It was sad to have an awesome relationship with a man who didn’t let go of his past hurt. As we grew closer, he started showing he truly hadn’t let go of the past and pushed me away. No one will be perfect, but are they self reflective and willing to grow in the relationship? Are you seeing the relationship for what it is or skewed vision based on hurt. This is a problem for both sexes, but men seek counseling less and hold onto the baggage. Don’t lose the one fearing you can’t live up to the expectations you’re imposing on yourself that she isn’t pressuring you on. Best wishes to the brothers out there. Lean on someone when going through things. Therapist are a safe place. Some sites allow you to pick a specific type. It’s ok not to be perfect; no one is.

Thank you family. And yes, diet is vital, still, unfortunately, it's a big mixture of things that's growing increasingly difficult to track. I've seen considerable research around how even when the Nitric Oxide is maximized, due to the neurological issues, there is no stimulus getting through. Still, so often, the diet is so poor that even if the mind is healed, the body still underperforms. Great wisdom.

I think that what many if not most women don't understand is that women have to lead. So many women argue that a woman is not supposed to provide, protect nor lead, that's a man job. And that's what I think got men so uptight. They actually believe that stuff women says and can't live up to it, bcuz it's not true. It's just little girl emotions women haven't outgrown yet. Naturally, a child will look to be covered and taken care of. But in adults this is farce. And when childish women gets with a man, they do things automatically to build him up and bring herself down. Which is proving, protecting, and leading. But doing it backwards. And he's only gonna become churlish, selfish and hostile over. Bcuz that's what becomes his dominance and leadership. A caustic tongue and quick temper. He's not doing anything but building up fear in her and making her feel bad. Bad men learn how to grab up a woman's false needs for their own use. So while she's calling on patriarchy to provide, lead, protect, and rule, she will be actually giving certain guys money, paying their bills, and even financing their dates with other women. If I could give just one piece of advice to decent men with a good heart and means well, it would be to stop listening to women calling on patriarchy. Those are nothing but little girls in women's bodies, and noble men are not gonna find nothing there but a nightmare. Dusties are the ones suitable for the patriarchal ladies. Bcuz the dusties are unscrupulous and will teach them the hard lessons that they need to learn. Bums or employed moochers controlling those women with a hot temper.

Applaud the conversations, however, I am wondering why women always are blamed for men's shortfalls including lacking male accountability. 1. Men are the leaders yet feminists are to blame for the state of some men today. When God calls to accountability, like he called Adam to accountability, you will not say its the women who caused the imbalance for He will tell you, arent you the ones I appointed to head your families. 2. Similarly, perhaps the problem arose from men not loving women like Christ loves the church because 3. Feminism grew from the abuse of men in homes & the fact that men started wars, causing the women to need to find work to support the families. In hindsight, was war the only solution? as it brought about 4. Men, especially combined with industrialization, leaving their families & the rise of single parent homes. We get blamed for how the children turn out even when we are the ones who stay. 5. Loved the perspective of how men's relationship with their mothers, especially where there is no father, impacts relationship with other men. But when do we call out men to accountability of not impregnating women & disappearing. 7. What is the solutions for women who find themselves raising children by themselves & no men stepping up as male figure because they dont want the responsibility? 8. Really ikes me that feminism is blamed for transgender women. It becomes womens fault that grown men are invading womens safety, privacy, sports & opportunities and getting assaulted. Where is masculinity when all this is happening & when do they step up to keep other men in line?

LOVED THIS! I am here as a woman listening bc it's alway's good to understand men better. I loved the topics that were shared bc many of them are so nuanced and carry so much of the unseen behaviors and this relation to a man that goes deeper than the conscious aspect of self as a man. A person/man above else is a spirit and a soul and there's shadows in that that have that foundation that play's a role in the relation to himself and any and every other relationship. it makes me very happy to see how ya'll stepped into that space with the cameras with a level of vulnerability that is strong, courageous and beautiful. Great conversation. It is necessary for women to listen to emotional mature and secure men discuss life. We have men in our lives whom we love and want the best for. There are so many distractions from the societal machine promoting the narrative that Black men and women are at odds and our families are in turmoil. This is far from the truth. ❤

God Bless you Jehan. And I agree, the enmity is far from God's highest design for us and our people. I believe we'll continue to redeem what was lost and build better for generations after us to follow.

I've never heard of yall. I don't even know how I came across this, but I'm so glad I did! This was an excellent interview! Topics like this I discuss with people all the time! The more I see what's happening in the world and the more I talk to people, the more passionate I am about people healing. Yes, I have shared clips of this on my social media page, and I am now subscribed! I love this! Will spend the summer binge watching you all! Thank you for all this! Hope to be a guest on your show someday! Until then, I'm watching, sharing, and praying!

This was a very profound and must needed discussion about men especially black men regarding their mental health and self awareness dealing with trauma. When you heal the trauma of the childhood wound of the little boy inside the broken man, the King will show up. A emotional mature and whole man is able to love God, himself, his woman and other people. Be blessed.

Sorry I like a REAL man personality and character. Men, GOOD Men should not change their manliness. STAY the way you are. Society does not speak for women.

Great podcast! The guest had several valid points, but I personally didn’t agree with how he kept saying “as a man”. This is a blanket statement that says that all men are a certain way. I believe manhood and womanhood cannot be generalized because many factors, mainly one’s upbringing, determines how people process emotions. I personally know men that contradict many of his points. Nonetheless, it was a good show.

13:00 yeshua himself went into the wilderness away from everyone he knew and love , to pray , it is necessary to peel yourself away from the noise and have a moment to get a good cry out or pray or just to be physically still and PHYSICALLY BREATHE… 25:49 it’s not an unmanly thing to cry 37:46 🫣😰🫢…. Wait … what !??? Noo 😔

This was a great episode because it acknowledged how men have to do the spiritual work to be great leaders at home, work, and community instead of using women as a scapegoat for their lack of self-love, virtue, or lack of fulfillment in this life. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Maybe that’s why a lot of guys are considered simps nowadays… The lack of fathers in the home is making men more protective of and acquiescing to women…
