This modern dating app phenomenon can't be any more toxic. This guy is literally the prize, full package, well put together. And yet these mids are knit picking every minute detail to disqualify you? Nothing against them personally, but we've treated dating like a LinkedIn application, with hoards and hoards of men trying to out shine/dazzle each other through creative marketing and for what? My mom, middle class beautiful lady, had no problem accepting my dad, short poor guy, now living happily till this day. Stop having to coax your way to their fancy. 6 feet, attractive Asian man, with your shit together. You are LITERALLY RARE statistically.

100% agree. They did studies on this. Dating apps are complete waste of time for men as 80% of the women on there go for the supposed top 20% of the guys. It's all very superficial and based on surface level impressions.

I don't think that the dating apps are toxic. He's not the full package prize like you say, that would be a 10/10. I think the 7/10 and 8/10 ratings the girls were giving were realistic and very good scores that anybody should be happy with. It's near impossible to be a 10/10 and almost as hard to be a 9/10 so realistically being 8/10 is pretty amazing. And if I was told I was a 7 or 8/10 I would be thrilled because I would know that if I could just work on myself a little bit more I could possibly even be a 9 or 10! They are nitpicking every detail because they were asked to! Reality can be harsh sometimes but their feedback was super valuable because these "mids" have the same preferences as any girl, including the most desirable ones, so the information and feedback they gave is incredibly valuable. Yes men are competing with each other with creative marketing but that's just the way it is, it doesn't have to be a negative thing. Dating apps are great for people who are too shy to approach people in real life or make a move. So the price you pay is doing a little self marketing and promotion, it doesn't have to be shameful or negative. Even though I do agree that it's not perfect and can be stressful and annoying or even depressing if you don't know what you're doing and don't have your stuff together but real life isn't easy and choosing a life partner is a huge deal. I know a lot of people prefer meeting people in real life and I think that going to activities is probably the best way to meet partners because then you get to know them naturally first and you already have something in common. But having the apps as another option is nice to have as an alternative. You say your mom had no trouble accepting your poor short dad, but I'm sure he had other qualities that made up for those things. The guy in the vid wasn't "coaxing his way to their fancy", he was just getting honest valuable feedback for people who want to use the apps to know what girls honestly think about them, and sharing that info in a video that will help thousands of people better understand what a girl wants in a listing.

The guy is just not physically attractive enough no offense! it would take some time to get to know him to find out that hes the full package but on dating apps looks matter stop with this nonsense it giving cope

I have a very good advice - never ask women how to be an attractive man. Find out yourself by getting to know you and asking older men and try to be a good version of yourself and the women will notice. Married for 8 happy years - have no clue about dating anymore but some things are always true.

Great job Eric! Very funny and well edited. I agree with the emoji thing --- too many emojis is like you are trying too hard. I would limit it to one emoji if any :) Also, no idea you can do voice memos now on dating profiles! I don't know why but it does feel a little creepy, maybe because it's too intimate for someone you haven't met yet? Anyways - keep it up! I was really excited to watch this video and you did great!

if i am honest some of these women's responses are weird. "the way to my heart is kindness" is a very good line(and it is coming from an open heart). I could talk with you for an hour about that.
