20 seconds in and had to pause to make my decision: - Engine: Carrera GT V10 - Chassis: Lotus platform (extruded aluminium), such as Exige V8 (Hennesy if V10 won't fit Exige / Evora) - Transmission: Something akin to a Mazda Mx5 / Toyota MR2 plus whatever mods needed to cope with the power - Body: Maybe a stretch, but a modified Designed By Singer 911 to fit the chassis and engine or failing that, a classic Ferrari such as a Dino 246 / 288/250 GTO

Body - 5th Gen Civic Coupe Motor - Small Block V8 (Rover 3.5) with Supercharger* (these compact V8s can make some impressive power!) Gearbox - Mk5 Toyota Supra manual* Chassis - E30 3 Series - They were/still are a great handling chassis, and... *have the RWD/transmission tunnel already there for the engine. Note: Couple of decades a go I read online (with pics) a guy in the U.S. had indeed fitted a V8 to a 5th gen Civic Coupe. He gutted the car, cut and welded in a transmission tunnel, resprayed, uprated the suspension, fitted a turbo, stand alone ECU, uprated exhaust, modded front & rear lights and much much more, and this thing was a BEAUTIFUL dark blue 400+BHP RWD sleeper. I had an aqua-marine coloured Civic Coupe 1.5 LSi myself, and yeah, I'd say, the engine bay is big enough to take a small V8 or even possibly a 2JZ (with a little cut and weld) Plus, I just LOVE the shape of those coupes! 'Jim Hiscott' a guy on KZbin is COMPLETELY resto modding a 5th Gen civic (with help from friends/members/donators, and he DESPERATELY wants to try and get his car finished before he dies (he's sadly been diagnosed with Cancer and was told he does not have long to live, but he's doing what he can before he 'Leaves this world'), PLEASE go check out his channel, see his car, and give him much love and support for his endeavours in completing his project (and his love for his Wife and cars)... i would personally go for: Engine: V10 from the Lexus LFA Trans: a 6 speed manual (Tremic aftermarket, etc.) Body: a Tie between a metallic turquoise E type convertible or a 300SL gullwing chassis: Something small, simple and tight, MX5 or MINI or equivalent. that would be gold IMO.

Engine from a BTCC-spec Volvo 850 Body of a Honda Del Sol Gearbox of an Integra Type R Chassis of an Integra Type R. Admittedly, I haven't got much experience with performance car chassis, but I know that my old Del Sol was a damned nice place to be, the gearbox was brilliant, and that the chassis was nice, if a little soft. That's why I'm going ITR for the chassis and gearbox, as they're basically what the Del Sol had but better. And why wouldn't I pick a Tom Waklinshaw built, 290hp 5-cyl screamer if I have the option?

Turbo 12v Vr6, with and NA mx5 chassis and the body of a mk1 caddy. 300bhp would be the goal with a nice lsd 👌🏻 obviously the engines aren't the most powerful in stock form, but the noise is fantastic. Combined with a tastefully modified mk1 caddy body. And I loved my NA mx5 it was like a go-kart, and the short shift on it was brilliant.

My mashup Frankenstein would be a mk2 golf se shell, so no arch plastics, small bumpers etc. very unassuming. With an ej20 Subaru engine just for the noise more than anything. Mated to an npq3 6 speed box from an ep3 civic because it’s one of the nicest gear boxes I’ve ever come across. On the chassis of an na mx5. And it would be rwd obviously

I’m thinking a 996 turbo chassis with KW suspension and all the trick bits, R888 rubber on BBS wheels and an aluminum block LS warmed up to 600hp with a 200 shot of nitrous to pass just about anything on the highway. Should be relatively reliable and easy to drive stupidly while keeping the shiny side up.

I would have my old Vauxhall Firenza, I had a Ford 711M in it just because it was available but that would go and the PD out of the Fabia would go in with whatever compromised gearbox and prop shaft I'd use. Probably something straight cut/sequential that could take some abuse. The car weighed 860kg back in the day so with 230hp 380 torque it would be fun and I'd be getting my old person MPG that I have enjoyed from diesel cars since 2002.

Oh boy this is difficult, i think for absolut ridiculus fun i would take a R32 Skyline Gtr Chassis, a Golf Mk4 Body, the 787B Engine (somewhere in it i don't care) and a fitting 6-speed manual gearbox. For beeing weird i would take any chassis that drives good and fits under the body of a 64 Chevrolet Impala, a 1.9TDI a bit tuned for about 300hp and it's 6-speed manual. (yes i like mk4 Golfs) For something else i take the 2.5L subaru flat 6 with it's gearbox in the body of a mk4 Golf BUT with the front of an R32 Skyline and the rear too, look it up there are pictures how this could look like, the chassis, man i don't know enough about that so i take the subaru impreza chassis i gues.

why are they giving alex crap for choosing rx8 chassis? just because there are so many e46's on the ring? its germany, germans love thier bmw's, they are good and fast chassis yes but the biggest point why everybody chooses bmw's is the bmw game is basically been tested to exhaustion so the german track scene knows what works. the recepie for a very fast car is easily achived. its the easiest way to build a fast track car. and they are everywere and parts are everywere. also, the rx8 is not popular on the Nürburgring for obvious reasons. but there are a few fast, like really fast mx5's out there. one NC driver even went sub. 7:30 btg with a 2.0 na engine. no swap most m3 drivers dont get that fast.
