Greta is a small deer mouse who was found by her rescue mom in her sofa. Greta’s mom hid there with her baby and unfortunately passed away. Since being rescued, Greta has continued to thrive. She loves eating sunflower seeds and spaghetti and cuddling with her mom and her new mouse boyfriend, Yellow.

Mice i’m totally fine with. They are cute and fuzzy and can’t even hurt humans. Their mouth and teeth are so teeny tiny it takes them 2min to eat 1 blueberry. Rats on the other hand I hate them. They can attack and they have razor sharp teeth.

We’ve had several wild mousey visitors over the years that have stayed and stayed and stayed. 😋 The first was Mr Jingles who lived loose in our living room for over two years. He’d come out at night and sit next to me while I watched TV. He eventually wasn’t there one day and we never found his body, but we think he must have gone outside to die. We’ve had more mice than I can remember living in every room in the house for their entire lives and we’ve loved every minute of it. We’d leave food and water for them, found where they did their business so we could clean it every other day and we never had any trouble from any of them. Our present cats don’t bring us ‘presents’ 🙈 But we have five fancy mice that we adore. ❤

Greta is super adorable! I had a field mouse in my house for seven days. We put several traps and the tiny devil never got caught... Until we got the horrible glue traps. The next morning he was found with the bottom half of his body stuck to the trap. I felt absolutely horrible. I put him in a 5 gallon bucket with cereal and sunflower seeds, grabbed some olive oil, and quickly poured on the glue trap. When he looked up at me with those terrified beady little eyes, I HATED myself. He was so tiny and helpless. Just a darling little bugger. In less than a minute he wiggled himself free from the glue trap. I took him to a nearby open field and released him back into the wild. He took off like lightening and was gone. I was glad to save his life.

@@Darkangel-hy8ev he's a wild animal that needed to be in the wild, not in my house. I'm a home owner and I've had rats and mice that caused thousands of dollars in damage. Plus they carry diseases too. You obviously don't own a home do you? And if you do, you probably have an infestation and you don't even mind. They carry fleas and those fleas carry diseases. Sometimes those same fleas carry bubonic plague. That's a risk I'm not willing to take with the life of my husband, my dog, or myself. If you're willing to do so, that's on you. I released him back into the wild where he belongs. Who are you to judge? You act as if I tortured him to death. I don't like having the local wildlife or insects in my house. Wild animals belong in the wild, not in peoples houses.

Hi im greta's human! Her mom had a botfly larvae. It was horrible and too big for her little body. Im so proud of her mother for doing everything she could for Greta
