Just bought a cherry '97 with 115k for my mom from a little old man that still had the window sticker. It's like driving an Italian leather sofa on wheels . Such a great car!

I remember when these first came out. It was a huge upgrade from the previous model they were very popular. I've always loved the body style just a beautiful vehicle and buttery smooth ride.

The ignition dinging is easy to fix, but mine stopped dinging after I pulled on the ignition collar a few times. It used to go off every time I finished driving, but since just pulling on it a few times, it's very rare and it doesn't bother me. Fluid film annually on the underside would make this car last many more years. Some of the problems I've had were weird, but always cheap and easy to fix.

Are the 03 lse known for thermostat housings gasket leaks plor it might be the intake

Pretty much all 4.6L were known for leaking intakes and/thermostat housings unfortunately, however, they are an easy fix for the DIY'er.

Sorry for all the msg. I no u are a bizzy man.. but I checked the tork on the thermostat housings and it was low. So I gave it 2 or3 more foot pounds and the leak stopped (love the vids)
