@@sillydiscord6835 it’s a preventative measure when you’re exposed to HIV but you have to take it within 3 days of exposure abbreviated as PEP. If your partner had tested positive and it’s over the recommended period then get tested (men are less likely to contract HIV from vaginal sex than women. One study suggests that your chances are 0.04% but take it witht a grain of salt. There are other studies to suggest otherwise), if you come out negative look into PrEP (pre exposure prophylaxis). Honestly, HIV isn’t as scary as it once was anymore rabies is much scarier since a lot of people just brushes off exposures to it like with a small cut, there are several preventative and treatment options available and 40+ years of research, tests, experiments.
