What if anything are you doing in regard to compaction? Love 'plant what you want to eat'!🙏🙏🙏

With the deep mulch the life and living roots over time have gone pretty deep. The mulch is thick enough that walking on it doesn't really effect the ground. Thank you for visiting my garden story.

@ thank you for doing it! I very much enjoy your practical applications. Tend to be like you a bit chaotic but unfortunately I still don't no enough to be comfortable. Thanks for your help.

SE Oklahoma here. The garlic that I planted a little over a week ago is coming up. I covered them with hay because that's all I had in a quick fix due to really cold temps the other night. My lettuce, broccoli, kale, radishes, artichokes, carrots, mustard greens and swiss chard are still going strong. I have parsley, oregano and celery in pots that I move in and out of bunkhouse. I took my rosemary inside and put it in kitchen kickout window. My plan is to plant some cilantro, arugula and collards. Maybe some more carrots.

Hi , what state are you in? Is there enough sunlight in December for the plants to grow ?? I would love to do this with carrots - tried it and they didn’t get going until later in the spring ….
